She stopped pushing against me and let go of my foot.

"Thank you.. (Y/N)." She whispered back.

I let off of her chest.

"No! Fight, Liza!" The man bound by Peter shouted for the girl.

I allowed Liza to look over at the male who tried his best to get Peter off of him.

"What's the point when my reason is gone?" She asked, turning back to me.

I got on top of her, grabbing her cheeks.

"Sorry we had to go like this, Evelyn." She whispered the name too low to hear.

I sighed, twisting her neck to the left side. The sound of breaking bones exploded the quietness of the atmosphere.

"NO!" The large, black male yelled into Peter's ear.

I got up off of the ground, staring down at the girl.

"Who do you work for?" Peter asked him after his yelling was done.

"Kill me."

"Will do." Peter said, breaking his neck as well.

I just stared at the girl. She was having her own drama and it ended like this.. So sad. I felt a warm, large hand on my shoulder. Eric. His scent was stronger than ever.

"Who did she say?" He whispered, staring at the girl with me.

I shrugged, too low to hear her. Gently, he put his hand on my stomach. He broke me from my thinking when he pushed me backwards, away from the dead body. I looked up at him as he stared into my eyes, then something on my forehead.

"You're bleeding." He said, covering the fresh crack that Liza had made.

I grunted, covering the long crack, moving his hand.

"Goddamn it." I muttered, looking down.

I need Four, I need a new mask.

"She okay?" Peter asked from behind Eric.

"Her mask is cracked and her wounds are opened." Eric explained the situation.

"How bad is it, (Y/N)?" He asked.

Gee, I don't know. I can't feel anything. I shrugged at his question.

"You're going to have to take it off." He informed me.

For the first time in years, I was so close to laughing at him and his 'suggestion'. Like Hell I'm going to take this off.

"I need Four.." I muttered, sitting down on my knees.

"Four isn't here. You need to let me see before you lose too much blood." He fought back.

I grunted, looking up at the still, standing man.

"I need Four." I muttered once again.

"Right now, it's either me or Peter. We aren't moving 'till you're fixed up." He said.

Then, looked to the sky.

"Choose or I hold you down and Peter can fix you up. We need to be leaving soon. I don't feel like missing the train."

I growled at his inconsiderate feelings. That part of him will never change, I guess.

"Fine," I muttered, then pointed at Peter, "Turn it."

Eric turned his head to look at Peter as he stared at the situation unfolding before him.
