When I'm With You (REWRITING)

CHAPTER 51

"How is Dee, Doc?" I desperately say. I want her to be ok. NO. SHE NEEDS TO BE OKAY. Yet the doctor looks say otherwise. 

"She's fine with a few cuts and bruises and a small concussion at the moment. She's woken up confused and is really wanting to see you," 

The doctor was about to lead the way to the room but I stop him. "And what about the baby?" 

"The baby is one strong fellow, I tell you. It's a miracle for the baby to be alive in a state of a car crash that had happened," 

I don't push the doctor into saying anything else. With the huge smile on my face, the doctor got the message that he had delivered everything I wanted to hear.

He leads me to a room a couple minutes from where I was sitting. He opens the door for me and closes it once I enter the room. 

"Kaz," he voice was so weak yet so strong at the same time. I look at her and my face falls. Her face was covered in purple bruises and her head was wrapped in a white bandage. The white bandages continued to appear on her arm and leg as I walk closer to her. 

Dee's P.O.V

I see him walking closer to me and my heart thumps. I was so mad at myself, so stress out that I didn't even think about what Kaz felt. "Princess..-" I cut him off before he could say anything. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I was so selfish. I was so over my life but I never thought about what you were going through. I'm so so sorry, Kaz. I-i-" I broke down before I could say anything else. 

I put not only my life in danger, but I also put the baby's life in danger. " I-i-i let my emotions mix with my mind and I thought speeding down the high was the best idea too -" 

"To what huh? To what kill yourself, Dee? What are you? Crazy? Do you know how that would affect me? If I ever found out that I lost you, I would kill myself," He cups my face and pulls me into a small peck. 

"Never do that again," Kaz says seriously. " Kaz-" 

He grabs my shoulder softly and stares deep down into my soul. "Promise me," 

"I promise, Kaz,"

I laugh as Anthea attempts to feed me the hot hospital soup. He hands were shakey because she was scared to burn me with it. I bring my mouth closer to the spoon and intake the liquid, making a sour face. 

"God, I hospital food," I dramatically announce. "Well, I wonder who's fault that was," Janyce says as she takes a bite from her Big Mac. "Shut the fuck up, Janyce," 

Anthea hits me lightly and I flinch abit "Kaz and you gotta work on your fucking language." I roll my eyes. "Yh yh says you," 

The boys enter the room and out of all three guys, Kaz had the biggest grin on his face. "Girls we got to go so bye Dee, get better, we'll see you tomorrow, like we have been for the past week," Jay said as he fake yawns. I chuckle the thick pillow at Jay's face and he groans.

Kaz chuckles and sits next to me. "That's my girl," 

"Your girl just ruined my boyfriend's face," Anthea says as she chucks the pillow on the small couch in the room. "So over dramatic Anthea, your face is fine Jay, it's also been like that," Freddie says rolling his eyes. 

"Like what?" 

"Ugly," Both me and Janyce say. We look at each other and laugh harder than expected. 

"Alright, Alright. Get out," Kaz says impatiently. 

Once they're gone Kaz closes and locks the door. 

"Finally, time to ourselves," 

"Kaz, go home. I'll be fine. Plus you need rest and stop worrying about me. I'm fine," 

"But how? You're kinda sorta like basically pretty much always on my mind, princess"

I blush but roll my eyes. "What is it with you and the cheesy lovey-dovey comments?" 

"What? You don't like them?" 

"Are you kidding I LOVE THEM," 

Kaz smiles. But it's not one of those normal smiles. it's the one where 'his giving me his full attention' smile. The one where 'i'm melting inside' smile. Just that genuine smile where you gonna kiss him so hard and never let him go smiles. Do you get me? (Single ladies. I get it if you don't. #singleforever)

I shuffle over, making room in the hospital bed and pat the empty spot next to me. Kaz hops on kinda scaring me that the bed will break with his body weight. 

"Well good, cause as long as I'm with you - which is forever by the way - you'll be hearing them every day - no every hour. 

I laugh and smile brightly as I feel his chest vibrate too. 

This is it. 

My life may have not come down to where I wanted it but with Kaz. 

Life will be better than I was planning it to be.

Don't worry Y'all. I'll be making an epilogue so don't freak out.
