Dee's P.O.V

"Bye, Grandma. Have a good time." I wave off to her as she walks into her place of happiness.

Every Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays she comes to this community thing for old people. It's full of grumpy but cute elders. It was basically a club for elders to socialise and spend time at when they're bored.

I pull out my keys and my phone. I check the time - 3 pm. I have 3 hours to spare until I pick Grandma up again. I look at my phone again, noticing how empty my phone really is now.

I had to change my sim card because I came to another country. It actually doesn't even matter anymore, the girls know where I am now. I won't be surprised if they're here in the next 24 hours. They called yesterday, I suppose to tell Grandma I've gone missing or ran away.

I sat in my car and from there it was my mind that took me places.

I stare ahead of me as my mind slowly tortured me. The building was rather larger, but that's exactly what I expected. I rock myself, still sitting in the car, before finally getting out. There were other people here. Family. Friends. Lawyers and Police Officers.

The Silverwater Jail Centre.

Everything about this is horrible but I was only a few steps closer to finally seeing what I wanted. The security guard standing in front of the entrance looks down at me.

"ID Please?" I look into my purse and remove my driver's licences, handing it over to the intimidating guard. He looks up at me, scanning my facial features and then back down to be ID. "She's clear to go!"

I slightly smile at the guard, hoping it didn't make me look suspicion at all. I push through the glass door, entering the chilly lobby area of the centre.

I look around seeing many new faces, but they all seemed depressed or didn't want to be here. I walk over to the front desk. "

"I'm here to see Peter Gomez," I say to the lady. She nods, typing something into her computer before handing me a plastic pass.

"Thank You," I mumble as I watch another guard open another door, which leads into a large hallway. I gulp, swallowing the larger lump in my throat. In a matter of minutes, I'll have to face my father.

Walking down the hallway was a nightmare, it went on and on to get to the door on the other side of the hallway. I didn't realise the goosebumps running along my arm until we entered a small room.

There was a bulletproof glass screen, dividing the room into two. The guard grabbed me a chair and I thank him.

"I'll be outside. Once you are done, just knock on the door and I'll let you out." He says before shutting the door, leaving me in the room by myself.

My heart was racing, remembering this was actually happening. I was going to face my father after everything that's happened.

I close my eyes when I hear doors open. I still had my back to the glass, not ready to turn around yet.

"Get your hands off me! You guys are fucking pigs!"

 I flinch.

That voice.

That damn voice

I felt tears threaten to spill as I hear the crashing and banging behind me.

The doors shut again, meaning it was just him and I.

I exhale heavily before sitting down in my chair.

Look up, Dee. Look up at him. Look your father in the eye. Scream at him. Threaten him.
