Sonia pulled up in the driveway of her home. Parking the car as she sat there for a few seconds before getting out. Gregory was in the backseat, sleeping peacefully. She look back and smiled as she walked around to his side to wake him up.

She open the door and tapped on his shoulder. Gregory quickly woke up and look around before putting his eyes on his mother.

"We're home, wake up."
She indicated to him.

Gregory rubbed his eyes and stretched before turning over to take off his seatbelt. He bend over, grabbing his bags. One bag is takeout from Olive Garden while the other is a toy robot from Toys R Us.

Sonia was in the trunk, grabbing her takeout and a few bags from the grocery store. Her and her son has been out since this afternoon. She was spending time with him, this is the first time in a month since she has been busy with other things. Gregory asked her a lot of times but he finally got the chance.

Before she could go inside to put up the bags, she had to walk back to the side where Gregory was seating to make sure he got out. Surprisingly he did and he was already standing at the door, waiting for his mom.

Sonia proceeded to the front door of the house, placing the bags down in front of her to unlock the door.
She fish in her pocket for the house key, found it she unlock the door and open it to let Gregory go in first as sje followed behind.

Gregory went upstairs but halfway he stopped and turn towards his mother. He was still sleepy.

"Thank you Mom for a wonderful day."
He manage to tell her as he tried to keep awake.

Sonia stopped in her tracks as she was about to go in the kitchen with the bags. She smiled.

"You are so welcome, goodnight baby."
She told him before proceeding to the kitchen.

She place the bags down on the table and went back out to get more. She would tell her son to help her but how he is looking right now, she didn't mind doing it without him.
Sonia was about to walk out of the house until Lakita jumped out from behind the door, scaring her.

Sonia screamed and held onto her chest. She glared at her as she was hunching over and laughing. She almost gave her a heart attack.

"Kita!"
She yelled, stopping her from laughing.

Lakita straighten up her posture and her laughter died down. She playfully push her aunt on the side, smiling.
She ignore the fact that her aunt wasn't happy.

"My bad aunt, how are you?"
She asked, opening her arms and walking up to her to give a hug.

Sonia dodged it and walk around her to get to her car. Lakita was dumbfounded. She didn't mean to scare her aunt, she thought she would be cool with it.

Lakita waved it off and walked inside the house to living room where she lays on the couch and watch TV.

She has been living here since she came back to Cali. She was supposed to be with her mom but Jolena wasn't going to allow no gang mess in her house. Lakita wasn't like that though, the gang knew she wouldn't allow them to come over nor her enemies. Still, her mom's mind didn't change. Her aunt Sonia stepped in when she gave up while looking for a place to stay. Since then, she is comfortable living here and respected her aunt's rules.
