Hey girls. Smile. "Matt shouted. Me,  Tatiana and Taliya stopped and turned to Matt.

" Why do you have my phone? "I asked as I got to him.
" Because I remember your password. "I roll my eyes.
" Just don't text or call anyone. "
"Yes queen. " I smirk and me and the girls walk off.
"Where's Derrick and minion number 1? " I ask Taliya.
"It's Chloe and I don't know. They said they'd be here. "
"Let's just get aixed drink. " Tatiana suggested. We nodded and followed her to the bar. I sit at the bar and order three mixed drinks. Good thing that the beach bar don't card. We are handed out drinks and Matt comes running up again.
"Girls. Smile. " We turn and smile. Again.

He comes up and showed me.
"You should be a photographer. " I said.
"I'm working on it. I just like capturing the moment. " I smile.
"I wish I could do that. " I said.
"You can. Your a talented beautiful girl. Don't take that for granted. "
"What do you mean? Your talented. And your clearly hot. " I gestured to his body. He leaned on the bar next to me.
"Well I can only play one sport. I can play football. Yea but I'm good. Not great. I can take a picture. Yea I can but others can too. "
"Think about it. Your unique. Not everyone can capture the moment. And not everyone can play your position like you can. Remember when you were gunna quit the team last year. Blake said that he wouldn't be able to find another player as good as you. " I said. I was being serious about what I was saying. I'm no liar when it comes to this.
"Your way more talented though. " Taliya  cut in.
"Yea you can sing. You can play the guitar and the piano. " Matt started.
"Your intelligent and can play multiple sports. " Tatiana said.
"You can dance. And you know how to work a audience. " Taliya said .
"Most importantly. You are a good daughter. " Tatiana said.
"Sister." Matt said.
"Friend and girlfriend. That I have ever met. " Taliya said. I was going to cry. I could feel my eyes watering.
"Guys stop it. I'm not like that. Stop trying to paint a picture. I'm a damaged eenager who covers it all up. " I say looking down.
"No your not. Granted you did have a hard time when your abuelita died. I hand it to you. You weren't the same after. But you tried. It's hard and we get that. Especially if is someone your so close to. Like with your abuelito. Would you cry if he died? Probably right? But would it be as hard on as like it was with your abuelita?  No. It wouldn't. I could see you going into a guilt phase but it won't last. "Tatiana says.
"Guilt? "I ask.
" My point is that you're not damaged. You picked yourself up after all your pieces broke. And your still picking them up. It takes time. But your not damaged. Far from it. You actually take it very well. "Tatiana continued.
" Because I'm seeing a therapist. "I said.
" Isn't that good? "Matt asked.
" I guess. I mean our first session involved a lot of talking and crying. I swear on my life I have never cried that much. It was like..... Reliving my abuelita death and funeral. "I said.
" But the real question is. Did you feel better after? "Taliya said.
" Yea. I felt like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. I feel more free. Do you get what I mean? "
"Yea." Matt said.
"Ok enough of the sappy stuff. We're at the beach let do something. " Tatiana said.
"How about you go up on the boardwalk right there and I take pictures. " Matt suggested. I shrugged.
"I guess. Let's go. " Taliya said grabbing our hands. We walk into the boardwalk and stand at the edge. Me and Tatiana weretalking while Taliya was looking in Matt's direction. We all know she has it bad.

Matt walks up and shoes us the picture.
"I swear Matt. You can be a professional. " I said. I was truly amazed. He is incredible.
"Yea. Like I said I like to capture the moment. " He said smiling.
"Me and Ali. We should take a picture together. " Tatiana said. She sat on the railing of the boardwalk.

"That's cute. Hey where's Leo? " Taliya asks. I point over to Jacob. Jacob was laying in the sand and playing with Leo.
"With Jacob. " I said.
"Awe. Jacob actually is being dental for once. " I snicker.
"Yea. Until I go and take him away. I'll be back. " I say and run over to Jacob. I sit down next to him.
"What cha doin? " I ask.
"Playin with your adorable puppy. "
"Awe. So puppies make you soft. " I teased.
"Don't tell anyone. " Leo came and layed on my lap.
"I know you don't like me the way I like you. " Jacob started. I turned toward him.
"I get that you love Blake and only Blake. That will never change. I like that about you. And sometimes you feel like a sister to me. I can get past my attraction to you because I know I don't stand a chance. " I smile.
"I'm sorry Jacob. I just don't know what it is. I think it's because I have known him since we were in diapers. Or because I know him and his way or the fact I k is he won't hurt me. Yea we argue. That's normal. But otherwise he would never hurt me. I think that's why I love him and only him. " I say looking down at Leo.
"I can tell you love him. Very much and I can tell he loves you just as much. He's a good guy. He's very lucky. " I leaned my head in his shoulder.
"Thanks Jacob. Your a good guy too. You'll find someone who is just for you. I believe that and you should too. " I said. I really did believe that. Jacob might seem like the typical playboy who goes through girls left and right, but deep down he's a good guy.
"Thanks aAli. "
"Your welcome. " I sit up straight.
"Ali,  Jacob! Y'all wanna go surfing!? " Taliya screamed. I looked at Jacob. He shook his head.
"You go. I'll be here. " I smiled a little. I got up and ran over to the others.
"Let's go! " I shouted. They laughed. I haven't been surfing in a while. This is gonna be interesting.
