"Tatiana please. " I say as I set down my stuff. I am at her house because she called me. She wanted to do my hair and makeup. It's not that I can't do it myself, I just like it when other people do it.
"No. I don't like Sam. " She said but she was turned away from me. I set my dress on the couch and my keys on the island. I walk until I'm facing  her. Her cheeks are red.
"Your lying. You so like him. "I said with a grin.
" Ok. I like him. I can't help it. I tried to convince myself to not like him. What's not to like? "She said.
" A lot of things. "
"Who do we like? " Dre said walking into the kitchen.
"Sam."
"No one. "
"Sam. Eww you like Sam. Of all people. " Dre said.
"Yes Sam. Do you have a problem? "
"Yes I do. "
"No you don't. Last time I checked I didn't have a say about your girlfriends. You don't have a say about my boyfriends. "
"Woah. Boyfriend. You rejected Sam 12  times. " I said.
"No I didn't. It was 13 times. "
"Just go out with him. 1 date. "
"1 date? "
"1 date. That's all he wants. For now. "
"Ok. I'll go on a date with him. " I squeal and start jumping.
"On one condition. " I stop.
"He doesn't take me to the movies. "
"Ok.no movies got it. "I said.
" Hey girl. Happy birthday. "Dre said and swooped me up in a bear hug.
" Thanks. I thought you forgot. "I said in pure sarcasm.
" How I've been texting you all week about it. I have my button up jeans and vans ready. "
"What is up with you guys. You don't wear dress shoes or pants. " I said.
"We like to be manly. "
"Yea well sometime guys look hot in tuxes. " Tatiana said.
"Sam's not wearing a tux. " I said.
"Damn it. " She muttered. I snickered.
"Well I have to go get Tammy. She went to go look for a new dress. " He grabbed his keys and left.
"Bye to you too. " I said.
"What do you wanna do. We have all day before you have to get ready. "
"Wanna go to the warehouse. " The warehouse is this gigantic shoe store. That's where I get most of my shoes.
"Sure but I'm driving. "

I had 5 pairs of silver heels in the cart. I was looking at more but Tatiana blocked my view.
"No more silver. Try a different color. " I groaned but agreed. I walk over to the section where they had white heels.
"I wasn't talking about white. Black is better. "
"1 pair then I'll Lok at the black ones. "
"Ok."I took ten minutes and got two pairs. She didn't care because I was looking at the black now.
" Ooh I like these. "I said and tried on some boots.
" Ok let's go before you buy the whole damn store. "She said and grabbed my arm. She pushed the cart to the register.
" I'm paying. "I said. She got a couple pairs of converse and adidas. She even bought some heels.
" No your not. I am. It's your birthday. "
"We have a birthday? " The cashier asked. I nodded.
"Ok.you get everything half off. " I smiled.
"I'm still paying. " I said. She sighed but nodded.

"Ali what the hell is all of this? " My mom asks as me and Tatiana walk into the house.
"Shoes. I needed to drop them off. " I said.
"I'll get Sam and Blake. " She says and walks to the intercom. I smirk at Tatiana.
"This is your time to tell him. "
"Tell who what? " Blake says. He grabs the bags from me and pecks my lips.
"She need to tell Sam she agreed to the date. " I whispered.
"Oh.what are you doing back? "
"I had to drop these off. " I drifted off because I saw something I never thought I would ever see. I start to hit Blake arm.
"Look." I say. He turns to look.
"Get you some Sam. " We say in unison. He and Tatiana were having a heated make out session.
"Can I come with you? " Blake asks with his puppy dog eyes. I close mine so I can resist.
"No. You have to stay here. "
"Nope. I'm not taking no for an answer. " I open my eyes and give him the 'are you serious' face.
"Fine. Hurry and grab your stuff. "He sprinted up the stairs. I walked over to my cousin and pulled her away from Sam.
" We have to go. "I say. We walked to the door. We walk outside and get into the Escalade. Blake comes out and sits in the back.
" Why is he coming? "
"He came in his own. I tried to say no but he wouldn't listen. "
"Whatever. I though the love of my life would want to see me. " He pouted.
"I am not the love of your life. " I said smiling. I turned at the light. He took off his seatbelt and came up in between the fever and passenger seat.
"What are you doing? I could get pulled over. " I said.
"Ali. Pull over. "
"Why? "
"Because I have to talk and I want you to pay attention. " I pulled over once I switched lanes. I turned to look at him.
"You are the love of my life. I never loved someone like I love you. Your my life. I look at you and see the future right in front of me. Your my everything. I love you. " A few tears slid down my cheek. He reached over and wiped them away.
"Omg did I just watch a wedding? " Tatiana ruined the moment.
"You had to ruin the moment didn't you? " I asked.
"Yep because your eyes will get red and puffy. If they do it will be hard for me to do your makeup. " I laughed.
"I love you Blake. Never forget that. " I turned and started the car. I pulled into the road just to be stopped by a damn red light.
