Dee Gomez only had little in her life. A dead mother, a criminal father and her two best friends - Janyce and Anthea.
Kaz Black had nothing to life but the responsibility of running one of the largest worldwide gang - The Black Kings and of course...
"Complain more, and we'll see who is going to be sleeping on the floor tonight." Kaz threatens back at him, making Freddie and us laugh.
I hug the girls one last time and say my final byes to the guys as they leave the kitchen. Kaz follows behind them shortly, but he stops before making his way out the kitchen. He turns himself around and smiles. "I have a surprise for you, baby."
Before I could respond he walks off, leaving me on a cliffhanger. "Kaz!" I squeal, iratedly and I hear him laugh.
I listen closely, waiting for the front door to close so I can talk to him again.
"Don't you want your special gift from London?" I hear him echo down the foyer.
I smile widely as I get out of my seat in excitement. "You actually bought me something?!"
He refaces himself back into the kitchen with a smirk across his face and both of his hands behind his back. "Of course, I did,"
"Well, are you just going to too stand there or show me my gift?" I raise my eyebrow as I go around to grab his arm.
He moves, laughing at my moves. "Woah there! You're so feisty today!"
I stand still in front of him with my hands on my hips as I look up at him. "Well I've been waiting for this gift for three weeks now."
"Okay! But give me a kiss first," He pukers his lips and leans down to me, still keeping his hands behind his back.
I quickly give him peck, impatience kicking my guts so I could know he was hiding behind his back. I pull back before he could deepen the kiss and smirk. "You really think you can trick me like that?"
He playful rolls his eyes and stands up straight. "I guess not." His hands come out, tightly fisted in front of me. "Pick a hand."
My jaw drops and I whince at him. "Kaz! Stop playing around!"
"I'm not going to open them until you pick one, baby."
"Fine!" I point at his left hand. "That one."
He unfists his hand and reveals a small velet box, making my eyes go wide. He flips the small box open and I gasp.
"Kaz...It's beautiful!" My eyes linger around the crystal ring, too scared to touch it. The ring was shaped like a crown, three diamonds placed on the top and sides of the sliver lace.
Kaz delicately picks the crowned ring from it's hiding and holds it in betbeen his thumb and index finger. He reaches out to my left hand and gently slips it on to my middle finger. "There!" He admires the ring on my finger. "A crown for a princess!"
I smile up at him when he quotes that. His lips peck my fingers softly and he smiles back at me. "Thank you so much." I whisper as I eye the sliver against my bare finger.
"Wait!" He pauses, one hand against my waist and the other one merging in the side pocket of his track pants. I look at him in confusion as he looks around the kitchen, stilling fishing his pockets. "Got it." He mumbles
He reveals another navy blue velvet box in his hands. Kaz fumbles with it, trying to get it open but because he said thick fingers, its was harder to open for him. "Here, give it to me." I reason with him.
He places the delicate box in my hands and I open it.
"I got matching rings for both of us."
I pout at him. "Kaz, that's so adorable." My eyes anaylse the perious ring, noticing the similarities with mine.
