It wasn't to chit chat with me over the phone, it was too finally end his constant outlook on life.
I walk down and see the girls watching the Tv and eating the already delivered pizza, which was sitting opened on the coffee table. I smile remembering I wasn't alone in this situation, if anything I'm experiencing it with my best friends and if I were to be honest, I couldn't be more grateful for that.
I reach in for my pizza box, as I sit in between both of the girls. "Kaz called. They've landed in London safely and have reached his apartment."
Janyce and Anthea both looked at each and then to me with relived expressions. "I've been waiting to hear something since they left." Anthea sighs. "At least they're okay."
I feel my stomach clutch up in nervousness, as I take a bite of the crispy pizza. "I feel so disconnected, you guys."
Janyce nods, not taking her eyes off the screen. "I'm really going to miss having their annoying asses around."
"No." Anthea stands up from the couch and in front of the TV, with her half eaten pizza in her hand. "We will not be wollowing, sad bitches who have no fun when their boyfriend's aren't around."
Janyce and I look at each other and laugh slightly.
"We should do something tomorrow..." I start. "Maybe go clubbing or have lunch with Layla?"
Janyce smirks. "Or both."
---------------------------------------------------------
My eyes snap open when I realise I'm alone in bed. The spot beside me was cold, inviting a rush on loneliness to me. My arms were tigtlly cradling the pillow Kaz would usually sleep on, making me sigh and stare down at it.
His scent lingers around me like he said it would, his jumper against my skin as way of telling myself that he never really left.
My body slight cracks as I stretch across the empty bed, I groan leaving my lips making my feel more alive. I rip the bed blanket off my body, letting the morning induce me. The floors were squeaky as I walk over to the bathroom.
I hated walking there alone, I didn't have his gaze watching me from behind and I didn't have him to make a sarcastic joke at, to confront his cheeky behaviour.
I look at myself in the reflecting mirror, he wasn't there to trail behind me and annoy me while I brushed my teeth. He didn't have one of his arms around my waist, while he brushed his teeth.
My eyes portion out the dark bags under my eyes and remind me off his dark bags when I was taken away from him by my father. I could only imagine the worst, knowing I was snatched away from his existence for alomst a month.
My stomach suddenly twists, making sound an empty gag. My hand bashes flat against my chest as I try to breath through my the gag but it was hopeless. I kneel down too the toilet, the sound of my gags echoing in the bathroom and travel into the bedroom.
"Dee?"
My fingers grasp the sides of the toilet, while I let out my dinner from last night. I feel my hair being lifted away from covering my face to prevent vomit from reaching my hair. I gag again, hating the feeling as a hand smoothly rubs against my back, calming me down.
I look at the mess in front of me, almost wanting to throw up more. "Shit, that's disgusting." I wipe my mouth with a few pieces of toilet paper.
"Are you ok?" Janyce bends down next too me and I nod as I flush the toilet in relief.
"I should be fine. My stomach is probably just upset from the greasy pizza from yesterday." I wave my hand at her, telling her to let me be.
