My usual morning routines started after twelve in the afternoon because I stayed up for work until four in the morning. Freddie was my night buddy. We were the two who had the messed up, unhealthy dailt routine for work and life. Jay jokingly called us vampires, because we slept all day and were up all night, only because he was in charge of the day works around the gang.
That was until Dee charged her away into me life.
Everything changed after that. I changed. My house, the place I avoided living in the past six years of my life, was the only placed I was able to escape too all because she was here. She is my escape, the only thing that keeping me from the darkness within me.
She turned my whole life around, just by radatiing her beautful energy around me.
I was beginning to walk on the right path, the way that will cease me of having more sin and it was all because of her. She was my motivation, I wanted to make myself better for her because she deserved just as much as I did.
She was my life now. All without expecting it.
All of my thoughts flew out of my mind when short arms snake around my waist, the light weight against my stomach when her hands lace each to keep a great hold on me. A gently kiss laid down on my back before the side of her face crushes into me.
"Good morning," Her voice was sweet, and I was ticked off that it wasn't the first thing I was able to wake up too today.
My hands soothingly trace up her skin, lacing my fingers with hers. "Morning, sleep head."
"I missed you in bed. Why'd you wake up without me?" She giggles agaisnt my back.
She's innocent, Kaz. She was the one you brought you back to yourself. She's the one that's going to stay.
She's the one.
I sigh, softly motioning circle agaisnt her small hand. "I had an unexpected work call."
"Yikes, I bet that put you in a mood." Her arms move from their place, making me turn around. With the back facing me, she naturally sways her hips as she walks over the the cupboard. Her arms stretch up as she grabs the bolted handle, swinging it open and pulling out a frying pan.
She turns back, closely incepting the pan to see if it had any dust on it. Her bare morning face was so enticing too me, no makeup and mess hair was a good look on her. "So what do you want for breakfast? Eggs? Bacon? Pancakes-"
"Dee."
I have to tell her. She's going to be spirited now that I'm no longer associate with a gang.
She looks up at me with a grin against her face. "Your eyes are really blue today, Kazy."
I chuckle, shaking my head at her. "You are something else, baby."
She hums in response, putting the pan on the counter next to the eggs and bacon. "You want eggs and bacon?" Her hands reach out to grab the eggs but I stop her.
"Dee, hang on." I pause for a couple of seconds, taking in a nervous breath. "I need to tell you something."
Her brows furrow and her lips turn, finally understanding the intensity of the room. "Is everything okay?" Her tone dropped from being in such a good mood, and the sound of her worry upset me.
"I retired from the mafia industry."
She frowns, still slightly bent over the counter. Her lips apart like she was going to say something but them mould back together again, deafeting my mystery reaction for her.
