I turn the book right way up and notice the cover had my name pasted on letter by letter, decorated in pinks and purple.
I frown again, confused to why I have never since this exact album before. "I've never since this in my life, girls," I suspiciously look up at the girls.
They look back at me and shrug, telling me to continue opening the book. I turn the front hardcover and smile.
The first picture was a picture of me as a newborn and my mother, laying down on the hospital bed holding me.
"Ah! Baby fever alert!" Janyce quickly snatches the album out of my hand.
"Dee you were so cute. What the hell?" Anthea continues to snatch the book off Janyce.
Janyce winces. "Hey! I was looking."
I chuckle at them and get up to look in the box again. I'll through those pictures later on, after the girls are over their baby fever moment. "Your mother was so pretty. No wonder you're gorgeous." Anthea says flicking through them.
"Damn! Your dad was hot when you were younger!" Janyce pervs, scanning her eyes on a certain picture, making me gasp.
"Daddy issues much?" I state sarcastically before closing the box. Right before I closed it something else caught my eyes. "What the-" I stop and pull out another photo album.
The girls notice my sudden change in words. I dust the album again and flip it over, showing the right side up. There were letters spelling out another name, but it didn't spell Dee. "Thomas?"
The girls look at me and I gave me a confused look once again.
"Who's Thomas?" Janyce stupidly asks, putting my baby pictures down on the couch.
I shrug my shoulders and run my finger on the cover of the blue and green book. "I don't know-"
"Girl! We're home!"
All three of us snap our heads at the entrance of the attic, startled at the sudden presence of three guys.
Anthea looks at the time. "It's only 4 in the afternoon. Why are they here so early?" Janyce says looking at Anthea's phone.
They both go exit the hidden place, leaving me alone to clean up the open box.
"She's up there." I heard Janyce exclaim as her voice slowly faded.
"Princess?"
I turn my head back at the entrance and see Kaz leaning on the door frame. "Hey, Kaz," I welcome him in, standing up, accidentally making mystery photo album fall to the ground.
I was about to pick it up but I was pulled into a very tight hug. "You haven't changed your mind, have you?" He says seriously.
I chuckle. "No, why would you think that?" I pull away and look up at him.
"You haven't answered any of my calls. I thought you were upset or something," he frowns as he rubs small circles on my arm, somehow comforting me.
I groan and put my head on his chest. "I haven't touched my phone since last night," I mumble, feeling guilty. I look up and stand up on my tie toes to kiss his cheek. "How come you guys are so early?"
"Oh, right. The boys and I are laying low for a few weeks. We want to concentrate on our lives," he replies, brings his hand into mine.
I walk down the attic stairs, leading him down to the second floor of the house. "But isn't the gang basically your life?" I give him a puzzled look.
