When I'm With You (REWRITING)

CHAPTER 28

I yawn, stretching my arms out of the blanket.  "Are you sure you didn't just break my damn door?" 

"Shut up," Janyce suddenly pushes me off the bed and I fall off, causing a loud thump to occur.

I wince as I sit up on my butt. "Ouch! What did you do that?!" I rubber my ass because it was the first thing that hit the ground. 

"Because I want to know who the mysterious person is!" She yells while looking through my closet. 

"You know I can look for my own clothes right?" I say getting up and walking over to the toilet. I keep my bathroom door widen open, as I do my business. We've all tend to build the friendship bond up so high that we just leave the bathroom door open when we pee.

"Yeah, but you're absolute lazy right now, so it's gonna take you 5 hours to find an outfit, babe," She laying clothes on to my bed for me. 

I groan as I wipe myself. "Hey, fuck you." 

"I love you too, Dee." She flies me a kiss before walking out.

I closer listen for Anthea's wake up call from Janyce. "Anthea! You lazy bitch! " I chuckle at the horrible profanity as I hear Anthea wince.  

I brush my teeth and have a quick shower before going to my bed and expecting my clothes. I nod impressed as I look down at the clothes laid out for me.

Janyce is going to ace our new job if she shows her work out like this. 

I put on my clothes and smile at myself in the mirror. "Anthea! We have 45 minutes to be at the restaurant!" I hear Janyce yell from her bathroom. 

I go down and start watching Family Guy while waiting for them. I look at my phone, realising I had another unread message from Kaz.

Kaz :)

Why are you up so early? And yes, I'd love to do something with you tonight. I'll be home at 12, Princess. See you soon 

I frown cause I won't be home to see him. 

"Dee, hello?" Anthea waves her hands in my face. 

"Oh right, we have to go!" I stand up from the couch and follow Anthea out the door.

We drive to this casual restaurant and get seated. 

"Ugh, where is this person? I'm so curious to meet them." Anthea eyes the place for the fifth time and then looks back down at her phone. 

I hear restaurant's door bell ring and look up to see Landon. He waves at me and the girls, but only I see him because the girls were in their own conversation. I give him a small hand gesture to come to our table. 

He walks to our table, moving the chair next to Janyce and sitting down next to her. The girls gave him a questioning look but after a few seconds, their eyes widen. 

"Landon?" They say together. 

"That's me." He grins widely at the girls. The girls squeal as they stand up to hug each other. 

"Jesus, Dee was right! You aren't nerdy-looking anymore." Anthea looks over him, surprised.

 "You guys grew to be really pretty too. Like honestly" He shook his head as we sat back down.

 We order lunch and start checking up with Landon. 

"Wow, so Layla and you have been dating for 4 years now? That so cute!" I adore the look on his face when I say 'Layla'. 

That's love. When your face lights up, hearing your partner's name. 

"What about you girl? Boyfriends?" We look at each other, not knowing whether to tell him or not.
