"Because I actually want to speak to you face to face," I say back. Janyce says plops down next to me.

We all sigh together and look a the Tv.

"We need to get jobs," Janyce states making my lips go thin. The house was paid off, thank god for that. I would be shitting bricks if I still had a mortgage torturing me.

"Well, no shit," Anthea says as she puts her head on my shoulder and Janyce proceeds to do the same, making me smile and feel like a mom.

My stomach growls. "When did the boys say they were coming?"

Anthea shrugs. "Jay said around 7-" Anthea was cut off by the loud bangs on the door.

I stand up to go answer the door.

I open the door and see 3 idiots standing there with 3 boxes of pizza. "Yummy!" I squeal as I snatch the boxes out of Jay's hands and close the door leaving them outside.

"Dee! What the fuck?!" I hear Freddie scream from the other side of the door.

I ignore them and tell the girls the is food here. Janyce laughs at my actions. "Let our poor boyfriends i-"

"No need we're already in," Jay walks in the via back sliding door and the others followed along. I slight chuckle as I pick up a piece of pizza and watch them walk like zombies. As I was about to take a bite into the slice, in was taken out of my hand.

I look up and see Kaz taking a huge bite out of it "Hey, not nice."I bend over and take another piece.

"Oh yeah as if taking food we bought and then locking us outside isn't nice," Kaz's voice was weary and he sounded pissed off as he sat next to me.

I give him a weird look and then look at Jay and Freddie. They shake their heads at me as some warning to not talk back to him.

I ignore them and look back at Kaz. "Everyone knows I was just joking around," I say looking at him. He lifts his head and I see his eyes darken.

Frowning, I stand up and go to the kitchen to get drinks for everyone. It was a stupid joke, he doesn't need to get so heated over it.

The heavy footsteps which follow behind me make me roll my eyes for the hundredth time today. I open the fridge door to avoid facing him and take a bottle of orange juice.

As I close the fridge, I bump straight into the chest of one and only.

I exhale, putting the juice on the counter and turn back to face him. He was already looking down at me with his stormy eyes. I give him a sad smile and wrap my arms around him tightly. It took a few seconds till I felt his arms hold me tighter.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you. I know you've been stressed out lately." I sigh into his chest.

He places his chin on top of my head. "I'm sorry about earlier too," he says.

I look up at him. "Earlier?" I say confused.

"You know the sudden outburst on the phone. You ended the call before I could say anything else," He looks down at me with regret in his eyes.

I chuckle. "I didn't even realize. I was so worked up about what I was going cook. That's why I called you, to ask what you wanted to eat but, you seemed busy so -"

"- I wasn't busy." He plays with my hair.

I pull away from him, instantly missing his warmth. "Do you think you can get the cups down? I can't reach them," I look up at the glass cups on the top shelf.
