Janyce and I laugh "When are you not?" I hand the cashier money as she tells me the price.
I turn to the girls, handing them the bags of clothes. "I bought the clothes so lunch is on you guys," I smile, turning back to get to the Supermarket.
I hear them both groan and walk the opposite way, towards the food court.
I pull out my phone as I enter the supermarket. "Ok, what do I need again?" I tap through my phone and find my list. "Oh! Right, I need lasagna sheets."
I grab a basket and go straight to the pasta section. I groan as I look at the different brands of lasagna sheets.
I move back a bit and bump into someone. "Oh shit!" I turn around and realise I had made the guy drop something
He bends down to grab whatever he was holding. "It's fi-" The guy looks at me and his eyes widen as if he knew me. "No fucking way." I frown at him, trying to remember if I knew him. I laughed. "Dee fucking Gomez."
My mind takes a turn and as soon as those words leave his mouth, I suddenly remember those blue eyes. My jaw drops as I scan the old friend in front of me. "Unbelievable. Landon fucking Parker," I shake my head in surprise, still trying to take in all the changes. "Wow, you've totally changed from the nerd I knew," I say looking at him.

He chuckles at my sarcasm. "Me? Look at you. You're not the fattie I remember." I gasp at his accent. After all these years and he still had a strong Australian accent.
"I was not fat. Plus that was 5 grade when we last saw each other!" I squint my eyes at him, completely forgetting the reason I'm here. "Oh my god! The girls are going to be so excited to meet you!" I say jumping up and down in excitement.
His face dropped, showing only shock. "Even after all these years, you girls are still best friends?" He raises his eyebrow.
I was about to say something but his phone went off. He pulls out his phone. "Give me a second," He answers the phone while I just look up at him with a huge grin. "Okay, okay, I'm sorry babe. I'll be there in 5," He says and then ends the call.
I smirk at him and extended my hand out. "Give me your phone, idiot," I say. He hands me his phone and I type my number in. "We all have to hang out sometime. You know to catch up after all these years." I say finishing typing my number in.
He laughs, throwing his head back. "Of course."
"Alright, I'll see you later." I grab a random brand of lasagna sheets and walk out the alise whilst waving bye to Landon.
I pay for the sheets and walk my walk to the food court.
I see Janyce and Anthea talking and eating their food together. "You guys wouldn't believe who I just met," I take my food out of the bag that was waiting for me, as I sit down next to them.
