When I'm With You (REWRITING)

CHAPTER 27

Jay rolls his eyes. "Jay, you can be in charge of backup, Just in case we need it. He's stupid if he thinks we're aren't going to bring back up." I say nodding at Jay. 

The meeting ended an hour after. I marked the date time and place on a posted note and put it on the broad, sighing in frustration. 

Some people don't fucking give up on us. When though we win every time, we lose money and men to the battles. I crack my knuckles and take out other paperwork that needed to be dealt with.  

Why the fuck Andrè need a week to exchange MY SHIPMENTS? 

I comb my hair with my hands as I read the paperwork piled up on my desk

I feel my phone vibrate from my pocket and I pick it up without looking at the ID

K - WHAT?!

D - Oh, sorry. 

Her angelic voice made me feel calm instantly, making regret how I answered the phone.

D - I'll call you later if you're busy. Sorry, again. 

K - No, Prin-

She probably didn't hear me because she ended the call. I'm such an idiot. 

I press her ID and call her but she doesn't pick up.  I sigh and text her. 

Me

I didn't see who was calling, I didn't know it was you. I didn't mean to scare you, babe. Can you pick up the phone?

She didn't text back making me feel horrible. I need to work on how I answer my calls or at least know who's calling me. 

I hear a knock on my office door.  "WHAT?!" I shout. 

"Can you chill, bro? I just bring lunch to you" Freddie walks in with Chinese food in his hands

. Jay comes behind him talking to someone. "Ok, yeah, I'll call you later babe, by-wait!" Jay pauses and smiles into his phone. "I love you, Anthea,"  

Freddie and I smirk at him but inside my heart kind of sunk. I look down at me phone and notice Dee still hasn't answered me back.  

"Don't look at me like that dickheads. Y'all have girlfriends too," he raises his eyebrows. 

"That's true," Freddie begins taking out the food from the plastic bag. 

"Hey, you know what sucks?" Jay catches out attention, making him continue. "I actually wish my girlfriend was the first person I had sex with but like back then we didn't really know what 'love' was." 

I nod my head at him. We were extremely horny in our teenage years. "I agree," 

"You agree? Jay, did you hear that?" Freddie laughs at me.

I squint my eyes at Freddie and throw a noodle at him, which he caught with his mouth. 

I laugh. "Nice catch, donkey."

Dee's P.O.V

"This one?" I check my self out in the mirror, admiring the really cute outfit I put together in the trying rooms. 

"I like the top! Is there other colours?" Anthea stares at the top excitedly. 

"Yep! Red and White," I say looking at the outfit one last time. 

"Thank god we're all the same size," Janyce takes out the other two colours from the rack. 

"I'm so fucking hungry right now," Anthea admits as we make our way to the checkout.
