Kaz's P.O.V

The sky was finally at this darkest, meaning it was almost past midnight. The skies were completely clear, exposing the stars to me.

"Hey princess, we should really get going." I look down after not getting a response. "Dee?" My fingers move small strands of her hair from her face. Her body was limp and her eyes were closed.

I slowly take in her feature. There was nothing imperfect about her. I loved the way soft pink lips would move as she spoke and how tiny nose would scrunch up when she sneezes. The way her curly hair would dance with the window, not interfering with her face what so ever. Her big brown eyes would hold some type of emotion.  She always looks like an angel whether it was while she was asleep or she was eating.

I carefully pick her, and tightly wrap my arms around her small fragile body. I place her in the back seat of my car, hoping she would stay asleep while I let her go. I place a blanket on top of her and gently shist a  pillow under her head.

A smile creeps onto my face as I watch at her peacefully sleeping from my rear mirror. How did she just tend to walk into my life and slowly change me?

It's so hard to accept the fact that I've changed. Falling for someone was never on my list of things to do in my life. It was only Business.

My phone vibrates on the passenger seat, making me reach over and answer it.

K - What?

J - Ok, sorry Mr. Rude Assrat, but you but start coming back. We have another problem at the Lookout. It seems the Rayn's partner didn't stand down as we told him too so. Andre's is starting their gang again.

I look back at Dee.

I don't want to leave her...but business is business.

Our dads didn't let us take over the gang for nothing.

K - I'll be at the Lookout in an hour. Freddie and you start on the work. I'll meet you's there.

J - Righto catch you later, alli-

K - Finish that sentence and I swear, I will cut your tiny dick off.

I lift the cover of Dee's bed light with my foot and gently lay her down. She groans in her sleep, getting comfortable and snuggling her pillow. I sigh down at her as I place the cover over her.

Thre was high crave of staying with her tonight but I had to go. I sigh down at her as I place the cover over her bend down and kiss her forehead.

I turn around to leave but something grabs onto my wrist. "Kaz?" Dee's angelic voice fills my ears.  I say back and see that she's half-awake. I kneel down next to her as she laid on the bed. "Thanks, again," she says smiling.

I smile back at her as my hand makes its way to hold hers. "Anything for you,"

I felt guilty rush over my body. "It's ok if you can't stay. I'll see you tomorrow?" she says softly.

I stand up and smile "Of course, princess."

"Night Kaz."

"Night Beautiful." I close her room's door, with only her on my mind. I really don't want to leave her alone after tonight. I sigh and pull my car keys out, as I walk down the stairs.

Driving to the lookout was absolutely chaotic. As soon as I put my phone off silent, it began buzzing with text messages and email.

I park my car in my allocated spot and walk into the huge building.
