Taking a walk along the white sand that I used to work on brings back memories. I cried here, laughed here and loved here. Now it's time to move on.
I make my way up to the tower, not knowing who will open the door nor who will be inside.
•knock•
"Hello, Bondi lifeguards" a familiar voice boomed through the tower
"VIOLET" Matt embraced me in a hug "COME IN SILLY" I chuckled a laugh "and you little one, you are indeed a cutie"
Alexia was turning 1 in a 2 weeks (sorry if earlier I had said a different age!)
"Omg Violet" a chorus of hellos were heard. A lot of the attention was on Alexia.
"Hi you must be Violet, I'm Jasmine. I'm new, the boys always talk about you though!" Her green eyes were sparkling, her tanned skin and mousy brown hair showed off her amazing beauty
"Hi there" I shook her hand , being polite and she ducked down to alexia's pram
"May I pick her up?" She looked up and I smiled and nodded. She reached into the pram, picking Alexia up. Her curls being messy from being asleep and her smile already put on.
She began to awe and pinch her cheeks, laughing I walked up to the rest of the boys that were watching the water.
"I'm glad your back Vy" vy. Haven't heard that in a while,
"Thanks hop, but it's not for good" I sat down on the empty chair, sighing
"Oh. Well I want to talk to you in my office when you're ready" I nodded and looked back at the water. I missed having to be on duty, patrolling the beach...
"Come now, Matt and Jasmine are in charge of tower, correct?" He looked sternly at Matt and he just nodded. Hop got up and I followed him silently, dreading what he had to say
"So" he sat down behind his desk "everything must be such a shock yeah?" I nodded and twiddled my fingers
He sighed in response. "Look Violet. I'm sorry I didn't hear your side of the story but please, move back, your job is still here if you are wanting to take it back and I understand I-"
"No hop, I didn't come back for a job. I came back for Maxi, I want him to be okay. I miss the kid, I miss him more than anything. Jesse moved on and now he is just an ex. " ouch. "I'm sorry, I just don't want this to sound rude but I'm not ready to move back."
"I understand, sorry Violet. We all are, and for you to find out about Maxi the way you did, and the -"
"I'm sorry again, but I found out fine. I just didn't want to hear it. I caused it. " and it wasn't until that moment that I broke down. Tears streaming down my face "I need to go"
"Please no wait. Let me call Koby" I nodded and he picked up the phone. He said a couple words and with that he hung up. "He will be here in 10 minutes. Alexia will be fine back in the tower with Jas and Matt til he gets here, please wait around or at least tel us where you are going ok?" He looked at me in the eyes and my lip started trembling
