I heard the trotting of footsteps stop just a few feet away from me. "Move and else these bullets will go straight through your head." The tenison in the air drifted when I realise the voice belonged to Freddie.

"Freddie...Please put the gun down," I quietly breathe, hoping they would notice my voice. It was dark so you couldn't see much. I moved away from Freddie's aiming and turn around to the light switch.

Grunts and groans fill the air once the bright light is shone through the living room. My eyes drag back to three pairs of eyes staring back at me in shock.

"Fuck.....Anthea." Jay takes no time to hug me tightly. "Thank god they didn't take you. Where were y-" I cut him off

"Didn't take me? What do you mean? " I question them, only for Jay to look at Freddie and Kaz and then look back at me. I look around them looking for the two people who were missing from me sight. "Where's Dee and Janyce?

"...Someone took them. You won't believe us when we say it but it was Rayn..." Freddie places himself down on the couch.

"Are you sure? Janyce and I split up to hide when we heard people break-in. Janyce went up to the Attic and I went down to the basement." I point up and down as I speak.

Freddie's eyes widen and he bolts straight towards the stairs. "Wasn't Dee with you, Kaz?" I ask.

He frowns, looking down at the ground. "Yeah, she was but someone took her when I was using the restroom." Pitty flew through his voice, almost as if he hated himself.

"Wait, so why would Rayn take Dee? And Janyce?" I question both guys standing in front of me. Jay was still latched onto me, not giving me a chance to breathe.

"Rayn like Dee. If Janyce isn't up there then I don't know why they took her," Kaz shrugs his shoulders. His eyes were dull and there were noticeable dark circles under his eyes.

"I'm just glad they didn't take you, sunshine," Jay whispers in me ear.

"Fuck! Where is she!" The voice boomed from upstairs as we hear a series of trashing noise.

My eyes begin to blur.

Both my best friends have been taken, and they are probably freaking out as we stand here and speak.

Kaz looks down at his phone. "Or they weren't interested in taking you, Anthea,"

Jay frowns at Kaz, wondering why he would say that.

I look up at Jay. "Is this why you kept telling me Rayn was dangerous? And that you wanted me to stay away from him?" I felt guilty for not listening to him. He was only trying to save me from the worst.  He lifts my head and nods, making me crash onto his chest. "I'm so sorry for not listening to you."

We pull away when we hear two certain people sigh loudly. "If we didn't leave you girls alone at home. This wouldn't have happened." Freddie rubs his temples.

"It was Janyce and me who told you, boys, to get Chinese.  Don't blame yourselves" I was trying not to blame anyone. We were all in the middle of it.

"Rayn's in a gang." Jay proceeds "The Red Devils,"

My eyes widen as I replay the words that left his mouth.

They explained everything to me. How the gang hated them and about the tattoo on the forearm.

"That explains why Rayn held his hands behind his back at the restaurant," I as I recall the white bandage which covered his arm.  "He wouldn't hurt them, right? Rayn likes Dee and Dee won't allow anyone to touch Janyce."
