When I'm With You (REWRITING)

CHAPTER 21

I chuckle a little, accidentally biting my lips so I wouldn't blush. 

He looks away from me and back down at his ice cream. "Don't do that." He groans. 

I smirk, knowing exactly what he's talking about  "Do what?" I look at him innocently. "This" I bite my lip again. 

He groans even louder and stands up. "I'm going to the toilet. I'll be back," He rolls his eyes at my unexpected seductive behaviour. 

He was about to walk off but I quickly grab his arm and try to pull him back. His head turns to me and he lifts an eyebrow. "I'll wait outside near the car. So don't be worried if I'm not here when you come back." I inform him as I stand up myself. 

I check my phone as I walk out of the shop. 5 pm already? 

The car park was completely empty and quiet giving me horror movie vibes. I'm pretty sure Kaz and I were the last ones in the store. Paranoia took over me when I felt like I was being watched. There was a slight burning gaze fixed on the side off my face, only wishing that Kaz would hurry up.  

I was leaning on the car waiting for Kaz as minutes go by and he still doesn't come out. 

And to think that girls take long in the restroom.

My feet begin to move tools the ice cream shop again but I was suddenly pulled into something by the waist. I didn't get scared because I knew it was Kaz just trying to play around with me. 

"Kaz," I wince a little because his grip was too tight. "Why are you holding me so tightly!"

I frown, not getting a response from him. "Kaz-" My eyes become fixed on a tall figure, whose face was covered by a black mask. "What the fuck!" I scream out of shock. The guy's eyes widen as my voice booms through the parking lot and he immediately slams his hand over my mouth.  

I squirm in the guy's grip, try to get out of his arms but he seemed too strong. 

I hear him whisper. "I can't believe I have to do this." I frown and I try to scream the loudest I possible could before this guy does something with me. Yet before anything came out of my mouth, it was covered by a strongly scented cloth, making me lose consciousness. 

"-he is going to be so happy, now that he has you." The unknown masked man said before I blacked out.

Kaz's P.O.V

I look myself in the small mirror which hung against the wall in the bathroom, as I wash my hands in the sink.  

I hear my phone goes off, making my awkwardly take it out of my pocket with one hand. 

K - Yo, Fredd-

F - They're gone.

K- Who's gone? Freddie be specific

F - Janyce and Anthea...They're gone.

K - What the fuck do you mean?! 

F - I mean that they are fucking gone! We can't find them anywhere! Someone must have taken them-

K - THAT SON OF A BITCH.

F - Kaz...Where's Dee? Please, tell me she's with you at least.

K- Fuck

I run out of the bathroom as quick as I could and went to open the shop doors but they were locked. "SOMEONE OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR!" I was furious right now and not being able to get out of this place is stressing me out. 

That when I heard someone scream. Not just someone....It was Dee.

I dramatically shake the door, hoping it would fall and smash into piece, but it stays stands. The owner came out with keys in his shaky hands. I try looking through the window but it was hard to see from such an awkward angle. 

Once I hear a click at the door, I push the owner out the way and bash the door open, running to my car.

I look around, hoping Dee was just messing with me and hiding from me. "DEE?!" 

I panic, not getting a response. I hear a phone ring in the distant, making me look down. My eyes widen as I see Dee's phone laying idle on the ground. 

K - Hello? 

J - Oh thank god, you're with Dee. YOU NEED TO GET HO-

K - She's gone too.....

J - WHAT?! I thought you were with -

K - I went to the toilet and she said she'll wait for me in my car. She's gone. That bastard took her. 

J - ...Just come home. We have to figure this shit out. 

I've never gotten to Dee's place so fast in my life. 

I enter the house and notice how messed up it waa compared to when Dee and I left three hours ago. Broken photo frames and vases were smashed against the floor, while dishes and glass was covering he kitchen titles. 

My shoes crunch all the glass on the floor, making me cringe. I walk into the living room and see Jay and Freddie sitting on the couch staring at nothing but the ground. 

I sit on the couch beside and they still don't react. " So what are we going do guys?" I say snapping them out of their little daydream. They still didn't say anything, just looked at me with blank faces.  

"We promised to keep them safe and we broke that promise.." Freddie's voice was covered in guilty, only letting me realise how true what he said was. 

This is the second time Dee's in trouble and I wasn't able to save her. "We dragged them into our lives thinking they would have been safe with us. But no. We're still the fucking horrible people." Jay buries his face in his hands. 

My face began to feel too as I fume myself. "What the fuck is wrong with you guys?!" I say standing up. They look my way with no emotion. "This is what they want! They are trying to weaken us by taking the girls away from us!" I point at them, right in their faces. 

Jay and Freddie look at each than me, standing tall as anger rose in them, just like me. "We promised to keep them safe. Yes, we broke the promise again....but that doesn't mean we give them on them!" I state. 

I was the last one, out of us three,  to say something like that and the guys know that. They smirk. "So, you're telling me that them being our weakness is a good thing now?" Jay raising his eyebrow. 

I mentally hear Dee's angelic laugh in the back of mind. "They are the best thing that ever happened to us." 

She changing me and doesn't even know it.
