I don't think we should tell the girls just yet. We'll go to Sydney and tell them there. It'll be easier if they didn't know until they were there, otherwise they'll both be messes.
I pulled up to my driveway and I walk to the house next door. It wasn't even two seconds after I knocked on the door, for it to fly open.
I was crushed by Anthea. "Thank God, you're here. Janyce is going crazy," She says into my chest.
"I'm glad you're happy that I'm here." I kiss her forehead, while I ran my hand through her hair. Guilt slowly consumed my body, finally realising how tough this was going to be on them.
"Kaz went back to Sydney," I walk into the house
Anthea frowns. "Are you serious?" She closes the door behind her and walks past me.
I follow her into the living room, with my hands in my pockets. "Yeah, he just asked us to be prepared to come to Sydney." I look off at the couch and see Janyce asleep.
"She hasn't slept from last night. She said she felt like something was wrong." Anthea explains as she fixes the blanket covering Janyce.
I pinch the bridge of my nose. Of course, she is going to feel like something wrong. Dee's probably shot and dead on her home floor, all alone.
"Coffee?" Anthea brings a cup up towards me and I grateful take it. "What's wrong? You seem worried." She says staring into my eyes.
I sip the coffee, hoping it would keep me up. "Just work, I guess."

Freddie's P.O.V
I turn the doorknob and walk into the inviting home. I see Jay poke his head from the living room couch, probably wondering who just walked into the house. "Hey, guys,"
Anthea was packing something into a small suitcase and Jay was typing something way on his phone, with a gym bag next to him. They were both packed and ready to go.
"Janyce is upstairs, packing her bag." Anthea pats my shoulder and hands me a mug of freshly brewed coffee.
"Thanks," I smile and sip my coffee while walking up to Janyce's room.
I knock on her door, waiting for some sort of response. "Cupcake?"
I hear her grunt and walk over to the door to open it. The first thing I notice is how her hair is travelling in 5 different directions. She already looked like a mess...in a cute way, of course.
I clench my lips together, trying not to laugh at her after-sleep hair. "Ugh, don't. My hair is a mess and so am I, Freddie," she says putting her hand on her forehead and pacing around a small suitcase.
"Hey. Everything's fine, ok?" I say putting my cup down on her desk. She had books and notepads covering it.
She looks up at me and I see worry flood into her eyes. "Freddie, something happened last night. I just know it. I can feel it." She rubs her eyes slightly.
I felt guilt wash over my body. "Babe, so far we haven't heard anything about Dee being hurt, ok? Pleasing stop worrying." I look at the noticeable bags under her eyes. "Did you even sleep last night?"
"No. I couldn't," She looks over at her messy desk.
I pick up my mug and bring it tools her. She looked like she needed the coffee more then I did.
She shook her head, rejecting the mug. "I've already had 3. I'm going to go absolutely crazy if I have another one."
I smile at her as I lean on the door frame. She looks at herself in the mirror, trying to brush her hair out.
