There's a whole lot of stuff we still have to get through, and I'm not going to lie to you... It's going to be a Big Feels trip. So, I hope you're all buckled in and get ready for the ride...
Anyways, I hope you'll enjoy this chapter. It's really going to help you all embark on what's to come.

~Melody's POV~
My face was squished in between my knuckles. My attention was solely on the glossy, wooden desk as I let the time roll by. If only it would've gone by quicker. I was growing bored of just staring at the dust that would trickle on the tabletop. I wanted to do something.
But Henry made it clear that he wanted to do all the work. He was scared that I might break something while he looked for... whatever he was looking for in all of these bookcases that circled the room. But, mind you, I've been in this library way before he knew this place even existed. He may be the Author but it doesn't mean he can just boss me around whenever he likes. I'm still his older sister.
Yet... I'm sitting by the desk, doing nothing, while Henry did all the work.
I still don't know how that happened.
However, I don't know what's taking Henry so long. If he's just looking for a plain old storybook, there are literally hundreds that he could pick from in this entire room. He doesn't have to go searching for the "perfect" one.
Well, don't know how long this is going to take. I might as well make the most of it. This soul-crushing boredom isn't just going to go away by itself.
With that, I grab hold of anything within arm's reach, which happens to be a pencil and (figures) an empty storybook. I drag the objects close to me, taking a firm grip of the writing utensil while I shut the book. I grip onto the pencil with one hand while the other was free. Then, I place my hand flat on the hardcover book and place the top end of the pencil on the hard surface as well.
Without following a specific tempo, I allow my hand and the thin object beat against the book. The soft, light tap of the pencil coincided with the low pounding of my hand creating an upbeat rhythm that one could move to. But this special drumming wouldn't be complete without a little more sound to add to the music. Some added melody (see what I did there...) is what's really going to pull this special song together.
Following along to my drumming, I sing, "Shooby doop dooby dop dobby doop dobby dah dah dap. Shooby doop dooby dop dobby doop dobby dah dah dap."
I pound on the hardcover a little harder.
"Do BOP she doo..."
Sadly, before I could come in with the heightened holler, the pencil was snatched right from my hand only to be followed by the empty storybook being dragged away from me.
I gape over at Henry as he stood beside the desk. After dragging the objects away from my reach, he picks a chair and slides it close to him so he could sit close to me. Then, he slams a different storybook on the table top.
"Hey!" I shout. I extend my arms out and send him a questionable gaze. "What the heck?!"
"We have work to do," he bluntly says. "Can't be having distractions."
