~Henry's POV~
With all the occurrences that have been going on, I'm just grateful I'm finally home. I'm also glad I got Melody home as well. She's safe and that's all that matters. It means that everyone I know and love is okay. The villains, we're facing now, have not taken any lives, and my sister is well enough to know that she will not hurt her friends or family.
Just to recap on what had happened after I found Melody, to state the obvious, we did walk back to my grandpa's (David) truck and drove all the way back home. I had to keep my arms securely wrapped around my sister just to prevent her from running away again, which she did attempt to do a couple of times. Surely, she could've used her magic to get away, but being beside me, the last thing Melody would want to do is use magic around her brother. She was too afraid to hurt me so there was no chance she would use it to make a clean getaway in fear that things don't go her way. Once reaching the truck, my grandpa helped Melody into the car and we made sure she sat in between the two of us. There's no way I would want to see my sister jumping out of a moving vehicle.
However, all I could say was that it was smooth sailing driving back to our home; well, granted it was extremely silent the entire car ride. But, eventually, we made it home without a hitch.
The second Melody and I hopped out of the truck, my mom's (Regina) black Mercedes pulled up right in front of my grandpa's truck. My mom and Robin quickly exit the vehicle and come rushing towards us. They were just glad we were okay.
Seeing Melody in front of her, my mom was quick to squeeze her into a tight hug. She did not want to cry in front of Melody or me so she held back her tears. All my mom could really say was that she was so worried about her little girl.
Sadly, even when she was in the comfort of her mother's arms, Melody couldn't return the gesture. None of us could blame her really. She was extremely exhausted after the day she went through. After facing Sabor and (accidentally) hurting Archie then hurting my mom (Emma) and worried about hurting me or any other person, it really does take a toll on someone.
So, after the short reunion, the five of us go into my home. My mom guided Melody back into her room to leave her to rest. She definitely needed it.
That was all that happened leading up to this point in time.
My grandpa and I sat one of the couches in the living room while Robin stood along the entryway, waiting for my mom to return.
The sound of footsteps grew louder and louder, and not a moment too soon, my mom reaches the bottom of the steps and stood beside Robin.
"So?" I ask.
"She's okay, Henry," my mom answers. "Especially now that I brought her her favorite snack, banana nut muffin and coffee."
"That's a weird pick-me-up snack. I never thought of her as a coffee drinker."
"Well, it always seemed to cheer her up when she was sick. I thought it would work now."
