~Regina's POV~

I stare intently into my cup of coffee trying to let time pass by. Currently, I sit in one of the chairs against the bar in Granny's Diner. I'm hoping to run into Henry here since it's the only place he has been in this town, besides his library. Thanks to Granny for giving me the information. I just need to talk to my son; I hate being the cause of his unhappiness. But, with everything he's been going through, I need to talk some sense into him. He doesn't know if his trust is going to the right person.

With that, I hear the bell ring. I straighten up and look over at the door only to find Robin coming into the diner. I sigh and lean against the counter.

"Sorry to disappoint you," Robin says. He takes his seat next to me.

"No you didn't. It's just..."

"You were expecting to catch Henry."

I nod.

"I understand, Regina. How is he though; have you had any contact with him?"

"No; I have no idea how my own son is doing. He's been avoiding me for the past week. I only know that he's been getting his meals from Granny." With that, the said woman sets down a breakfast plate, containing a stack of pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon. "Thank you, Granny, for everything."

"It was no trouble, Regina. I'm always glad to help" She smiles and leaves to continue her duties.

"At least, he's doing okay," Robin states.

"But, I just wish he was with me. Then, I would know that he was safe."

"Don't worry. He'll come around eventually. He's a young boy and just needs some time to himself."

"I feel like I'm losing my son all over again."

"Regina, you are not losing him."

"Well, he practically hates me."

"Because, he doesn't know the truth. He doesn't have all the facts straight."

I use the fork to stab in the pancakes and take a bite out of my meal.

"Listen, why don't we go to the mansion and try to speak with him? Even if he doesn't answer us, at least we tried. If we don't force anything upon him, he'll open up to us eventually."

"But, what if he wants to know the truth about Melody?"

"Then you give it to him. He deserves to know the truth about his adopted sister."

I look away from him and bite my lips.

"I know going back to a past you'd rather forget is hard, but soon it'll get easier. Just think about Henry; it'll give him, and you, some peace of mind."

I take in a deep breath and look at him. "I suppose we can give it a try."

He smiles. With that, Robin gets up from his seat and extends his hand out to me, which I gladly take. He helps me off my seat and we walk out of the diner together. Once in front of the gates, we were about to turn towards the direction of the mansion but something stopped us in our tracks. Something quite unsuspecting.

A loud scream shoots out into the atmosphere. But, that wasn't the shocking part. The only thing that caught me the most was I knew who that voice belongs to. A mother always knows when their child is in distress.
