~Tarza/Melody Flashback~

Tarza rushes through the jungle, always checking behind her back to see if anyone was following behind or even watching her. Fortunately, she was alone, but it didn't ease her worry. Even with every chance she gets to sneak off and spend time with the humans, it seems like it gets harder and harder for her to keep moving forward. This is the seventh time she's snuck off (though who's counting) and Tarza seems like she's no closer to ridding the humans.

Not only is she getting tired of her little mission, but her patience was getting thin. The fact that Kerchak has been enforcing the new curfew is definitely not helping her case. Tarza has worked too hard only to be stuck right back into the same curfew she was put under when Sabor was still lurking. She's tired of being trapped in a little bubble; she wants to be free, but not for her sake, every being in the jungle deserves to roam free in their own backyard.

Tarza thought this mission would be easy. Talk to the humans and they'll leave. But, it seems like this job was going to take a lot more work and force, if possible.

Spotting the dull yellow fabrics of the tents from behind the enormous shrubs, Tarza pushes through and enters the radius of the campsite. Along the sides of each large tent, papers scattered along the ground. Tarza picks one up and spots the lines that swirl along crisp paper. The curves along the paper must've indicated hills and the never-ending somewhat straight lines must've suggested a trail. This was a map. The humans were creating a map to the entire jungle.

This is no good. These humans are getting closer and closer to discovering her family. There's only so much jungle left until the humans start spotting anything that isn't human. Tarza has to start taking action now.

With that, Tarza looks around her. There was barely anyone around. They must be busy doing God knows what. Then, knowing the coast was clear, she quickly crumbles the paper in her hands. Then, to ensure that no one would ever be able to read from the map again, a flame engulfs the, now worthless, map. Looking beside her, Tarza spots a medium-sized cylinder beside a wooden desk. All the papers inside were rolled up; they, most definitely, must've been more maps. The young girl sighs before tossing the burning paper inside the open container. It only took seconds for every paper inside to catch the flame.

In order to not make a scene, Tarza rushes to the vase and pushes the papers deeper inside the wooden crate, making it quicker for the fire to take over the defenseless paper. However, the fire wasn't going to extinguish anytime soon nor was it going to look good when someone spots ashes from the fire inside the wooden crate. With another glance around, she takes the container and rushes over to the nearest fire pit. Luck was on her side. One was already flaming with a metal pot hovering above the large flame. Tarza crushes the wooden container with all her might, careful not to burn herself or get a splinter. The second the container collides with each end Tarza throws the crate, and every last remnant of the wicked maps, into the blazing inferno.

She smirks, knowing that she at least found a way to slow down these humans. They may have more maps, but she did get rid of a large amount of them.
