So, here is the other chapter that I promised to bring out for the Once Upon A Time mid-season premiere.... This one is a real doozy.
By the way, here's a fun fact: Did you know that the total word count for "The Magic Within" series is 184,765 words... and counting.... Please end my suffering... (Just Kidding!! LOL. I've enjoyed writing every single word for this series and I'll only keep writing more just to continue on with this wonderful story.)
Anyways, hope you guys enjoy the chapter.

By the time Emma and I made it to the Sheriff Station, I was numb inside and out. My nervous breakdown had already drained my energy. There was nothing else I could do. I already made enough trouble, and I'd rather not screw things up again. Everything that happened today was just too much.
After guiding me into the station, Emma escorts me through the office, past the desks, and towards the cell. I wasn't here for a simple visit; Emma had taken me into custody. She pulls out a set of keys from her pockets, inserts the correct key into the keyhole of the cell, twists the key, and pulls open the cell. She ushers me inside, which I comply.
I enter the cell and plop down on the rickety bed that was stationed inside. Once comfortable, I bring up my right hand towards my face to scratch an itch on my nose; however, my left arm had to follow behind. The cold metal pinched against the skin of my wrist.
I wasn't really given much freedom with the cuffs on my wrists. After all, I'm a criminal. Though I don't blame Emma for taking the extra precaution; she was only doing it for the public's safety. I highly doubt she'd care about my own safety; I was the one responsible for the mess in town.
But, that didn't mean it didn't hurt my feelings any less. It's like I was treated like a ravage animal being pushed into a cage. I wasn't the one who was suppose to be in here. Sabor should've been in my place. How could the roles be switched around? I never meant for any of this to happen; I'm not the villain. Sabor was the real culprit; she knew that this would happen and she would never get caught. She wanted me to take the blame. She wanted me to feel weak, to be broken. That'll be easier for her to take me down.
I'll admit; it's not a bad plan.
Once on the bed, Emma walks up to me, takes my hand, and removes the cuffs from my wrists using another key from her bunch. After freeing me, she grips onto the cuffs and shoves the keys back into her pocket. With that, she turns away from me and travels out of the small cell. However, she halts at the entrance. She brings her hand up and grips onto the bar beside her. Then she leans against the metal and lowers her head.
She sighs. "You know I don't feel good about doing this; right? I'm only doing this for the best after what's happened."
With my back against the stone wall, I bring my knees up to my chest and lean my head back. "It doesn't matter," I say; my voice remained monotone and I didn't bother to put any effort out there. "You got what you wanted."
"Melody, don't say that."
"Say what?! You never liked me anyways. You just wanted any excuse to put me in a cell just like every other villain."
Then, Emma twists around and faces me. "Well, with what it looked like out there, I got the impression that you just attacked Archie."
"That's not what happed," I spat out. "Sabor was in town and she was going to attack us. She had turned into her true form and was ready to sink her teeth into the first person she could find. I had to do what I had to stop her. I never meant to hurt Archie; he was an old friend!"
