~Melody/Tarza Flashback~
The second the sun peaks from the horizon, it's like every bird that resided in the Forbidden Jungle rose with it as their internal clocks alarms them to wake at the crack of dawn. To follow their tradition, each and every bird decided to chirp their favorite tune, setting it as a natural alarm for every other creature in the jungle. For some, it was a sweet melody. As for others... let's just say that a few animals were concerned that they were screaming their final death call; that or they wish they could kill the birds themselves for simply not letting them sleep with their annoying squawking.
Unfortunately, the gorilla troop was those that were awoken by the birds' disturbing calls. The troop surely weren't going to sleep in. Eventually, one by one, with Kerchak (obviously) being the first to awaken, each of the troop members rose from their slumber and almost all of the gorillas that were rising made some remark to their troubling neighbors.
Terk was extremely close to rushing up the trees and choking whatever bird she could get her hands on.
Tantor was the only one who could calm her down, but Terk was close to choking him by his trunk, making him a poor innocent victim to Terk's abuse.
The elephant definitely needed Tarza's help just to avoid being choked to death by Terk (though secretly, he knew that he would die that way), but Tarza was currently unavailable.
It looks like the obnoxious squawking from the birds around her didn't affect her one bit. But, with her nights being unrestful, the daytime might just be the only time she can get decent sleep. So, while her family was rising from their nests, Tarza was still sprawled around in her nest. While in her peaceful rest, a dried out trail of drool went down her chin as a result of her sudden insomnia and her (really!) deep sleep. There was a small snore escaping her but it wasn't too loud that it could compete with the birds, not like some of the males in her troop.
However, Tarza's slumber was going to come to a sudden halt. Those bird "calls" weren't the only things that made the species pests. They always knew how to make everyone's life worse simply for their own sick pleasure.
So, while Tarza was sleeping, a small, chubby, blue bird slipped its way onto a branch that hung right on top of the girl. It looked down at its target, and quite possibly, it was smirking to itself. (It's hard to tell with their beaks)
Now, I know what most of you are thinking... But, there was no chance in this bird's lifetime that it would want to "relieve" itself on top of Tarza. Birds still have their morals, and the Forbidden Jungle is a land where all creatures live in peace. Well... to tell you the truth... the real reason is that this bird would not want to face the wrath of Kerchak if he knew that another pest did its business on his family. He has a special hatred for the species, and he wouldn't hesitate to make that bird pay (RIP to all those before this bird who dared to test Kerchak). But, you know, this is a land where animals live in peace and harmony.
