~Emma's POV~
I rush through the hospital halls with Henry by my side. My hands gripped onto his shoulders, preventing him from breaking from my grasp. He was so eager to run past the hallways and get to his mom. But, more importantly, to his supposed sister. But, I had to hold him down. I didn't know why Regina wanted me to bring him here. She only asked for our company and nothing more.
"Henry, I need you to calm down."
He didn't respond. He still refused to talk to anyone, even after what he had witness only days ago. We had to practically pry him away from the girl before the paramedics hoisted her onto the ambulance, and afterwards, we had to take him home. There was no way he was going to his library alone. After what he had just witness, you have to be crazy to leave a teenager like him alone. But, eventually, through all his protest, we brought him back into his room.
During those days, he never left, except to go to the bathroom, and not once did he try to talk to anyone of us. The only time he left the room on his own accord was when I told him we were going to the hospital. Only then did he burst through the door and race towards my car. That was half an hour ago.
Now, after jumbling through the maze of halls, we reach the room where Regina and the girl were residing. They were in the same room that Henry was in when he almost died on my watch.
I look through the glass wall only to find Regina sitting on the edge of the bed where the girl lied. She smiles at the young girl while brushing a strand of hair away from her face. Then, Regina turns to our direction, gazing at us on the spot. She rises from the bed and walks over to the door. She pushes open the door and stands there, waiting for us to enter.
"Henry, I think there's someone waiting for you," she said.
As soon as I release my hold on him, Henry dashes past Regina and into the room.
"Henry," the girl shouts, a smile appearing on her face.
"Mel!" he replies, though muffled due to the wall. Once by her side, he brings her in to a tight hug.
I smile. I finally hear Henry's sweet voice. It almost seemed like forever just yearning to hear him speak. And, all it took was to bring him to the girl. I was almost shocked that not even Violet could've helped him.
Then, Regina closes the door behind her, leaving the two kids to themselves, and makes her way to me. Once by my side, she turns, crosses her arms, and we stare, past the glass, at the two teens talking amongst themselves.
"So, she's the real deal," I ask, mimicking the same action as her.
"Yup, she's the real Melody. She's my little girl."
I look at her and raise an eyebrow. "How could you tell?"
She smirks. "She told me something that only she and I both knew. Something I said to her a long time ago."
"Really? You used the same move I did when I found out Henry was in Pan's body."
"Yup."
