I stared at the field with pure hatred. Usually, I would love to go to Royal's games but it reminds me too much of him. Chad Rucker. My ex, who broke up with me yesterday in the middle of a party. We were meant to go to this game together before everything went down.
We were just together at a party one minute and the next minute, I was in the middle of nowhere, walking home.
I finally decided that I had enough of watching this game and wanted to go home. I was making my way up the stairs when somebody bumped into me, causing me to nearly fall down the stairs.
"I am so sorry!"
I looked up to see one of the most beautiful faces I have ever seen. I blushed as I noticed he was holding onto my waist.
"It's fine. Not the worst part of my day," I joked with him.
"Is that why you were marching up the stairs with a frown on your face?"
"You watched me walk up the stairs?"
"What? No, I was just glancing by..."
"How did you still manage to bump into me?" I laughed at his flustered face.
"I got distracted by your beautiful face." I blushed while he laughed this time.
"Well, it was nice meeting you....."
"Travis."
"Mallory."
"Beautiful name."
We stared at each other in the eyes for a while before we felt someone tap us on our legs, then point up to the screen. We are on the kiss cam. I blushed and looked up at Travis and he smiled down at me. I could feel everyone's eyes on us and felt more uncomfortable.
"Fuck it," he whispered and pulled me into him.
I smiled into the kiss as everyone cheered. We pulled away moments later and he pulled me down to sit with him.
I love baseball games.
