Chapter 11: I Love You

Shin Seulji's POV

"Y-you came. Thank you."

"You made me worry so much, Tae. What happened? Why are you in so much pain?"

He slowly sat down and winced in pain. He at his hand wrapped with bandage.

"Answer me, Tae. What happened?" I asked again.

A tear escaped his eyes followed by many. "I-I'm so broken emotionally." He sobbed. "Seulji, is there something wrong with me?"

I shook my head to answer him even if I did not know why he's asking that kind of question. "There's nothing wrong with you Tae."

He looked at me, quite happy with my answer but still he looked sad and broken, "Really?" He asked and I nodded.

"Areum..." he mentioned.

"What about her?"

"We're done," he said and tears started brimming down his eyes again.

I hugged him, giving him comfort as I rubbed circles at his back even if I was damp from the rain but nonetheless, he did not care. He needs someone right now, someone who can comfort him, be with himㅡ someone he could lean on I was the only person right now that is with him.

Poor Taehyung... how can an angel experience this kind of things in his life? And I am one of those who made him suffer but at least, I'm here for him, not as his lover but as his friend and someone to lean on specially when he's problematic. I did him wrong, really, but this is only the least I could do now.

"Stop crying, Tae. Tell me what happened to reduce the pain you're feeling. That would really help." He nodded and started telling his story.

Kim Taehyung's POV

~Flashback~

I just got home from work and changed my clothes when all of a sudden, my phone rang because of a call.

Areum, the call ID said.

I picked up the call, not wanting for my girl to wait that long. I bet she misses me. "Hello?"

[Tae, c-can we meet?] She asked.

"Sure?" I answered, not sure because my instincs were telling me that something was off. 'Does she somehow have any problem?' I thought.

[Meet me at the park near your village right now. I'll wait for your arrival, Tae.]

"Okay, baby. I loㅡ" before I could finish my statement, she hungs up.

Confused on why she was acting like that, I went out and walked my way to the said park.

I saw her, quietly sitting on the swing as she lightly moved her legs to move the swing back and forth in a slow and calm pace.

She looked problematic and nervous and she looked so drowned within her thoughts.

I stood behind her, trying my best to not let her feel my presence. Slowly, I wrapped my arms around her which startled.

"T-Taehyung," she called. I smiled. How I love to hear my name coming out from her mouth.

"Tae, I have something to tell you. Please do sit at the swing beside me," she commanded..

As an obedient boyfriend, I followed her and sat on the swing beside her, my body quite tilted to face her direction.

"Tae, you are the most cheerful person I've ever met in my entire. You make me happy with your little but sweet actions. Your childishness is also a charm of yours. Your smile, your eyes, everything about you is perfect. Youㅡ"
