Now with all that straightened out, it explains why Henry and I are in the mist of wrangling three cats within the living room of Killian and Emma's home. We thought that rounding up three kittens would be an easy task, but with every youngling, they have their own agenda. They may be the size of our hands but, man, are they agile.

Henry and I try to get them into one place but they just won't stay still. Right when we get one off of the coffee table and onto the ground, another would be climbing up our pants. Then, when we thought we had all the kittens in one place, we'd find one missing. Pretty much, it was a 2-to-3 match, and the combined three pounds of fur-balls were obviously winning. These cats proved to be much trickier than us. They are clearly siblings; no DNA testing needed.

It would definitely be a whole lot easier with three of us handling the felines, but one-hand wonder is busy talking on his cellphone in the other room. At least he knows how that thing works now.

As a matter of fact, he's been in the kitchen for a while now. I think I'm just about ready to grab whatever is within arm's reach and throw it at his direction to get his attention. Maybe then, he can get out of that "important" call he's been on for the past 20 minutes.

I guess he read my mind because, not even 10 seconds after I had that thought in my head, Killian ends his call, drops his cellphone onto the kitchen table, and returns back into the living room.

However, it's not like we needed him anymore.

Miraculously, Henry and I somehow got things under control now. While still seated on the floor, we managed to get a firm hold on the kittens. Henry had both boys in his hands while I was stuck with the girl in my hands. Let's just hope the trio can stay calm for a few minutes... if that's possible.

Henry and I took a breather, for once.

Then, after passing beside us, Killian situates himself on the coffee table and faces the both of us. He places his elbows on his knees and entwines his hands together.

"Look who finally decides to show up," I joke. The white feline tried to juggle around in my arms so I had to adjust to her movements in order to prevent her from escaping me again. "What was with that call anyways? You nearly took an hour."

"More like half-an-hour, Melody," Henry corrects.

I smirk and roll my eyes.

"That was David on the other line," Killian states.

"Oh, really? What did he want?" I ask. Finally, the little feline got into a comfortable position and lay in my arms.

"He went to go check on Dr. Hopper."

My face drops.

David went to check on Archie. Is that seriously all that was discussed in that entire phone call? If so, it can't be good. Right? I mean, if he had called to say good news, the phone call would've taken only seconds; then, Killian would've rushed to Henry and me to tell us the good news.

It has to be bad news.

Oh my god... Did I kill Archie?!?!

Seeing the distress on my face, Killian quickly goes on to say, "The doctors told David that Dr. Hopper is in stable condition."

I finally breathe a sigh of relief, letting out the air that was stuck in my throat.

My head was about ready to burst into a million pieces. Not only in this moment, but ever since the accident, my mind's been going bonkers. I kept thinking that I killed someone else that I care about deeply. Archie was more than my therapist; he was a good friend, more so one of my only friends, back when my life was good. With everything that led up to that incident, what was I suppose to think? My magic was strong, and the only thing that was on my mind was killing Sabor. I couldn't bear to think what would've actually happened if Archie had died.
