“August, they family?”

“Yea man.” He nodded. “We all family here.”

Looking at him, I smiled. After that we walked into the building and I was amazed. Majority of the store was blocked off and all the attention was on his section.

“Damn babe.”

“This looks really good Mr. August.” I complimented.

“Thanks.”

Separating, everyone began to mingle.

“Lani!” Sean called him over to by him and the others.

“Jay can I?”

“Sure just be careful.”

“I will.”

“You can go too.”

“Thank you.”

As they went their way, I walked around and observed when my phone vibrated.

LJ: “How’s it going?👀”-7:30pm

“So far so good. We got into the ‘family’ pic too😐.”-7:32pm

LJ: “ Well look at you😆. Putting yourself out there like that😏.”-7:35pm

“Yea and I feel like its gonna come back on me😩. I don’t want anybody knowing I'm connected to them tbh😔.”-7:39pm

LJ: “Don’t worry, just enjoy yourself.”-7:43pm

“Yea. How's my son? How's the reunion?”

LJ: “Mann,😒😒😒 shit went left out here.”-7:46pm

When I read that, I excused myself to a quiet area and called him. Texting me saying shit when left and you got my son with you, I wasn't down for that.

“I knew you was going to call.”

“Yes. Now talk.”

Soon as we pulled up, my aunt, Renee was drunk and wilding out. Then she got into it with her husband because he tried to take her cup from her.”

“She needs to stop.” I laughed.

“Girl that ain't even the half of it. She then got into it with Auntie Judy who smacked her and hard too. Talking bout she had that waiting for her.”

“LJ where is our son?”

“With me in my grandma’s room. He laying here watching me like he know I'm talking to you.”

“Ok good.” I exhaled.

“You give him solid food right?”

“Yes LJ. He's a year.”

“I know I'm just making sure.”

“Just nothing to greasy.”

“Yea.”

“Anyway. Let me get back out there.”

“Yea go turn up with them rich folk.” He joked.

“Goodbye LJ.”

Shaking my head at his comment, I walked out of the bathroom, bumping into someone.

Looking up, I froze on site seeing Beyonce standing there.

“Wow, you're beautiful.” She complimented me.
