"So how has she been doing?"

Lounging on tha cruise as Misty, Sarah and em were on tha slide with tha children.

"She been good. We ain't really talked about babies or anything."

"That's good." Momma C nodded. "She should just focus on having fun."

"And that she is doing." I smiled as she and Nai came down tha water slide.

We been on this cruise fa three days now and shit been great. We spent tha day in Aruba yesterday and it was beautiful.

"Yall gon be good with Nai later?"

"Yea." She nodded. "Sheila and I taking her to watch the Aladdin show tonight so you and Mist could have your date night." She smiled.

"Thanks."

"You're welcome son."

Exhaling, I laid back and just relaxed. I'm not going to lie, all this with Misty and her having surgery been bothering me, more so that I wasn't thea.

Since we been married we been thea fa each other regardless, we always made sure our shit never clashed so tha thought of ha going through that shit alone was unsettling but I know she had ta make a call.

"Dad!"

"Huh?"

"Dang, whea ya head at dad?"

"I'm sorry sweet pea, wassup?"

"I'm hungry."

"You always hungry."

"I'm growing." She smiled.

"Watchu want ta eat?"

"Chicken strips."

Looking at ha, she had this broad ass smile on ha face.

"Only because we on vacation you'a get a pass ta eat from others."

"Thank you daddy!" She hopped on me.

"Aye ya getting me wet lah girl."

"So..its time you got in tha water."

"I'll be in later."

"Mhmm." She shook ha head.

"I promise sweet pea." I said getting up.

As me and Nai walked over to the bar area ta order something ta eat, I noticed Misty walking quickly heading ta tha bathroom.

"Nai gon back by ya grandma, I'a be back."

"But dad?"

"What I told you?"

"Fine!" She mumbled and walked back.

I on tha other hand made ma way over ta whea ma wife went. Standing outside tha bathroom, I paced lightly.

"Aug?" She called.

"You ok ma?" I approached ha instantly.

"Yea I'm fine."

"Ya sure, I seen ya walking so fast, I got..."

"I'm fine babe, I just really needed to pee." She sighed.

"You lying ta me?" I asked ha.

"No August I'm not. What do I have to lie about. I needed to pee so I went and pee. There is a dye detector in the pool if I had peed."

Looking over ha face, I let out a sigh.

"Ok ma, I'm sorry."

"Yea" she said lowly.
