You adopt a child to give it love and a home. To care for it and give it proper care. To guide it and protect it. You will give a great gift to that child.
Now think about this. Because of what we have God does not adopt us. We do not get his name because of our looks, wit, or good attitude. Being adopted is not something we earn but something we receive. We are in God's house because God adopted us. God is the owner of the house. God took you home and found you and signed the papers.
He does more for you then cleanse your name. He gives you his name. God takes you home he sets you free. He adopted you because he wanted to. You were in a good place with him and in good will. He knew the trouble you would be and he would pay the price. so he signed his name to yours, and changed your name to his and took you home with him. He adopted you and became your father.
