When Esau grew up he sold his birth right. He was a skilled hunter, of open fields, and Jacob was the kind of person that liked to stay at home. Isaac favored Esau and Rebekah favored Jacob. He was hungry and asked his brother for some of the stew. But his brother told him he wanted his birth right. Esau swore an oath and sold his birth right.
As it happened a severe famine came upon the land. The Lord wanted him to stay where he was and he would have all he ever wanted or needed. Can you picture it if you listen to the Lord you will have have everything you want or need. No worries or fears.
Then there was a conflict over water rights. Isaac had a great crop thanks to the Lord. A very rich man was he. People were angry and jealous of him. They filled his wells with earth. He finally found a well where people left him alone and it was called " Room Enough".
Then he had visitors that wanted a treaty. He made the treaty with them and all was well.
