I look behind be and see Hunter, light in his eyes fading away from him as his blood pours onto my shirt. I start to get tears in my eyes as he moves himself off of me, the arrow meant for me embedded in his rib and heart. As I start to breakdown, trying to pull the arrow out, he weakly holds my hand and stops me.

"I just want you to know that I wanted you protected," Hunter says as my whole body trembles. "I didn't want you to get hurt but I now I know that I only hurt you more."

"You'll make it out alive right?" I ask, tears falling down my face. "You'll still be here."

"I'll be here in spirit and in your heart and that's all that matters. I want to tell you so many things but I have so little time left.

"I knew that I was going to die today and I don't want you to be upset because it was my choice. I love you so much that I would rather see you perfectly fine and me hurt then you have a bruise and me be fine. I want you to know that I care about you and I will always help you.

"I'm losing blood but before I start to lose anything else, I want to give you my powers and my rank so hold my hand please."

Hunter looks at me with water in his eyes, his skin getting paler and paler as he uses all the force he can to grip my hand. I sit down and he starts to mutter something, his appearance changing to his human appearance with every mumbled word. He weakly smiles as a flow of energy starts to flow into me.

"I don't deserve this," I say as he sighs.

"Yes you do. Look, I will be back some day somehow and you'll see me, ok? I want you to have the happiest life ever even without me. I will be by your side when you need me and I'll help you. Right now it's time for me to go and for you to fight."

"But I need you."

Hunter grabs my sword and places it down in front of him. "Then let's say I'm having a little rest, ok?"

I nod and he brushes off the tears on my face. "Ella, if I have any hope of making it out alive, I need to make it to the medical wing quick."

"Ok, I'll fly you the-."

"I have a quicker way."

He picks up my sword and holds it above his other hand. "I love you."

Hunter presses down on his hand. "I love you too, Hunter."

As he disappears, I start to cry louder and louder, my new powers going haywire as my world stops in front of me. I create a telekinetic shield around me and look at Gilbert, Gilbert just standing there. I feel something flood into me as I pick up my sword and hold it, my temper boiling to new levels.

I feel my powers coming out as my wings double in size, my tail doing the same as scales crawl up my hands. I feel more energy as I let out more and more, my empathy powers breaking through Gilbert's mind. Fire starts to burn in front of me as the rain continues to fall.

"What took you so long?" Gilbert taunts. "Missing your friend or should I say boyfriend?"

My wings are now a bright red as I face him. "Your a murderer."

My empathy powers start to change Gilbert's emotions very slowly as I start to fly, my larger wings giving me more speed. I fly to Gilbert's shield and touch it, my hand going through it. I smile and start to break it like glass, shattering it with telekinesis before attacking, my sword and wide wings allowing for a quicker attack. I hear water start to come and I look at the direction to see a big title wave coming.

Using all I can, I pick Gilbert up with my telekinesis and hold him in front of me, holding him to the ground with his mouth up. The wave comes over me as it heals me, Gilbert's health declining rapidly. I pick him up and start to throw him, pushing with most of my effort as he gets airborne.
