Spark (Under Editing and Updating)

Chapter 28 (December 1st, 8:14 pm, Hunter)

Momma K leaves and I try to understand something that just come to me, the top two people in the clan were Hybrids, both from an unfortunate event and both were total opposite of each other in gender, element, troop, and if they lead or followed. Yet the two are a powerhouse if they fight together but if they fight against each other then it would be a tie, if both were grounded. I look at my orange armband and move it down, making me flashback.

"I don't want this to happen to me right now, I will have to keep this a secret from the group forever," I yelled as the needle hit my arm.

"It's not that big of a deal, I mean you have to have so type of advantage with being the leader," Gilbert said as I tried to get out of the chain.

"Well I'll erase your memory every single day if I have to from keeping the group from knowing about this."

"Fine then but know the genetics can't be removed now so now you have a clear advantage over all the group including me."

"Momma K, I need you here right now," I send to Momma K.

As I flash back into reality to realize Ella is looking at me, with paper in her lap and I pen in her hand. "What were you talking about? Everything ok," Ella asks what a worried face. "Yea, just a bad day-dream, it wasn't real at all," I say.

"Sure it wasn't real. The secret is going to be let out soon anyways, that's how all secrets all now a days."

I just push my armband up and lean back, wondering if Ella found out about a secret that could make the clan turn against me. I hoped that when it was reveled, that the group would understand why I wanted to hide it, to protect the group from thinking I was their king and everybody needed to follow me, though I just have the label as leader. I just wanted everybody to follow on with there lives and not think about me as the one who 'ruled' them and would stop them if they did something that I didn't like.

Just then Ella's dad comes in with a box with 2 bottles of something and walks up to Ella. I've knew about Ella's dad before Ella due to my dad and him being best friends in high-school and also the fantasy football league that they were both in, though they didn't talk often, more like 2 times a month. Then I see Ella's dad walk away and stand in the middle of me and Ella's bed, tapping his foot.

"So Bell, you have a bad rib, food poisoning, and that you are now a shape-shifter, but you didn't tell me about 2 of those things. And Hunter, why didn't you tell me that my daughter blacked out at her birthday party," Ella's dad asks.

"Well I didn't want you to worry about her, in fact she didn't want anyone to know she was now a super-human, she wanted to hide that side from her and plus she fears some doctor out there will want to test on her now that she's super-human," I say.

"I know and understand Hunter, I was just kidding too but when I came here, a nurse said to give you these, it looks like lemonade to me."

"Oh that's a healing spell, it will heal us quicker, someone in the clan works here and she would of given them to us," Ella says as she gets a spell and drinks it.

"Cool, I don't know any of these things but guess what, Sweep the Leg won today! It's first win in two years," her dad says.

"Good job for a fantasy football team," I say.

"Well I got to go, I need to get home. See you two tomorrow," Ella's dad says walking out as he gives me my Healing spell.

As he leaves all I can think about is about me being a Hybrid and hoping no one but Momma K and me knew about it. I slide down my armband and remember that Ella was the one who gave me the armband after the lightning. I just hope that she didn't know about the secret or that her dad told her because he could read minds I think, just a trend I guess.

I then get an idea to upgrade Ella's mind control powers because I didn't want her to go through more then she could the next weekend. "Hey wake up at 5:30 tomorrow," I say to her," just trust me."

My head hits the pillow as I hear her say," ok."

I hope tomorrow in the portal world won't be long.
