I sat on the bus on my way to Hunter's new house when the bus turns onto Main Street from South Market Road. As the bus rolls on the road to a red light all I can think about is that the girl who is sitting across from me is going to face a lot in the next weeks... or should I say months? I look at her to see she's floating off the seat, about 2 inches off.
I flashback to when I was born, born from lightning from Maryland that traveled to Chicago. How the lightning caused Hunter to bleed and the lightning to pick up the blood which finally created me. I'm not all human you know, but I'm human enough to have feelings.
After the 1 minute mark, I time traveled a year in advance to see my full human brother with a group of 10 other kids forcing a girl who I now know as Ella, to give up a fight or else they would hurt the poor girl. I end my flash back to see Ella looking at me, with all black irises. Curious, I make sure the bus is going slow enough and walk to her seat.
"I've always been curious about you," Ella says as she whispers to me, "so can I ask you some questions?"
"Sure, after you tell me why your floating and why your irises are black," I reply.
"Well I don't know why but are you Hunter's not human brother? Why do you you seem like no one can see you? Do you have powers? And if your Hunters brother, how do you grow and learn so fast? You've only been alive for like two months," Ella asks, "Hunter told me he had a non human brother that goes to my school and rides my bus."
"Look, I will answer you at the meet tonight, and yes, I know about your meet. But it's our stop. See you later, at the meet."
