Chapter 10 (november 28th, ella)

I walked down the street, carefully looking both ways every 10 feet even though Reese's house was 3 houses and across the street from mine. I was on my skateboard going around 6 mph and was going around around my slowest I could get there. I turned the skateboard around 90 degrees and rolled up in the drive way.

I walked up to the car Reese was in and knocked on the window. Mr.sheeshy, being who he is, says hiz and rolls down Reese's window. Reese, who has red eyes with dashes of orange and yellow instead of her natural brown, looks at me evil-eyed.

"Get out of here or your going to get hurt," Reese says with a deeper voice then her normal mild-toned voice.

"Now don't be mean Reese, we going there for dinner so don't fight," her dad says with a worried look on his face, probably because of the deeper-then-normal voice.

"Ok, well see you for dinner," I say as I start skate-boarding home.

When I get home, I take a little 10-minute nap which turns into a 30-minute nap instead to which a wake up to shaking. "Ella! I'm worried about you! You might have to cancel your birthday/indoor pool party tomorrow and move it back," Hunter says shaking me up.

"Wha-what?" I say as I slowly wake up.

"Your about 34% human, 33% dragon and 33% glow stick. If this goes on for the night, you have no other choice," Gaby says in a calm voice.

I look down at my legs and notice their glowing, I feel my back and there's wings there, I look at my hands and notice that their glowing too. I shake my head to see if I'm really seeing these things and i truly am, but as I close my eyes and open them (not blinking) i see I'm back in my regular human form. "Let's hope that doesn't happen again," Hunter says right along side my bed.

"Ella, are you talking to a boy back there," my dad yells back and breaks the mood of the room.

"It's only Hunter and Gaby and it's for, uh, clan services," I yell back at him but see he's at the entrance of the door.

"Just checking in on you guys, oh and your more then welcome to stay over for dinner, Reese is coming down with here family," my dad says walking out into the living room.

"Ok so I think your safe for tomorrow so I will wipe Reese's memory of the fire fight so no revenge will happen tomorrow," Hunter says.

"Ok, agreed," I reply.

Just as I finished the end of what I had to say, I start to form a question in my mind: where's my dad's girlfriend?
