"How are you feeling?" Hunter asks me as I walk to him. "Still have a fever?"

"I just woke up, I have to see," I reply, my bracelet on my wrist starting to bug me.

"Well I contacted Brianna and she said she might be able to heal you but we have to be in the portal world. If that doesn't work, I did contact Ms.Kat along with Lahela and Josie and we can always go to Supercell and ask if they know anything. Let me check your fever though."

Hunter goes to the bathroom and brings out the thermometer, the metal on it cold to the touch. He walks me back to my bedroom, instructing me to sit on my bed and go into Hybrid form, my scales still on my neck but not on my arms. I place the thermometer in my mouth and Hunter checks my bracelet, making sure everything is fine with it.

After a minute passes, the thermometer beeps. "What's the temperature?"

"99.5 degrees Fahrenheit," I reply to Hunter. "At least it went down."

"Temperatures spike in the afternoon and decline at night so I'm still guessing that your real temperature is 100 degrees. When I open the portal, just go in, nothing else. No using your powers or anything related to that, I want you to be ok and have energy. Go back into your human form and use as little energy as you can."

I nod and Hunter gives me back my bracelet, my wings and tail disappearing with my scales. Hunter makes a force field around my room and he leaves, making me stressed out though he soon comes back with a bowl of chicken noodle soup, the steam coming off of it heating up the room. He places it on the table in my room and moves my beanbag chair in front of it, putting on his bracelet as well.

"Eat, you need it," he says.

"But I thought we were going into the portal world?"

"We are after you eat. Haley and River told me to make you up some chicken noodle soup before you go into the portal."

I groan and Hunter sits down on the other side of the table, his eyes the natural brown that they have always been. He reaches a hand for mine and starts to talk but it gets muffled, my ears not listening. He notices this and taps my arm, making me focus again.

"You need to eat," Hunter says. "And I told you something very important that I know you didn't hear."

"What is it?"

"Today we are going to be getting to use weapons for tomorrow."

"Like what type? Like swords and bows?"

"Yea. Now eat some of your soup, it's getting cold, there's something I want you to help me with."

I start to drink the broth and it's heat feels me with warmth and I feel better already, the noodles tasting so go. Hunter smiles and shakes his head, a scar on his cheek from last night showing up. After a few minutes, I finish my soup and Hunter picks up the bowl along with the spoon, walking out of my room and coming back in a few seconds later.

---

"Ok, you need to be in Hybrid form for this to work and if it works then you should be fine for today and tomorrow," Brianna says as she prepares the room. "Hunter, can you please exit the room. I prefer to allow the least amount of people to see me in my troop form."

"Ok, that's fine," Hunter replies, going out of the room along with closing the door. "Remember we have to time travel later today, Ella."

"Before we began healing you, I have to ask you something."

"Ok, what is it?" I ask, sitting down on my bed.

"Me and Maddie were talking to each other last night and we were shipping pe-."

"Don't tell me."

"Ok so we did ship you and Hunter together but both of us are predicting that he's going to admit that he loves you on Christmas. I know Madison and Mallory have the same type of bet going on but I'm just warning you. But are you ready for this?"

I sigh and take off my bracelet, my wings hiding my face from Brianna as I start to notice my hands covered in scales. I'm instructed to lay or sit down and I swing my legs onto my bed, laying face down on top of the sheets. My wings fold in as I hear a flapping sound, the familiar sound of wings beating filling up the room.

I feel a stinging sensation in my arms and neck, followed by a burning, the pain making me start to whimper. The pain travels to my forehead and the pattern continues, the pain rippling through my mind, roars starting to come out of my mouth, my tail whipping back and forth. After a few more minutes, I feel an ice pack on the back of my neck and ice packs on my arms, the ice numbing the pain.

Just then, my legs feel the stinging and I feel my eyes starting to water, the burning now on my hands. Ice packs follow and I hear the flipping sound silenced as I feel something spark inside of me, energy starting to fill back inside of me. Brianna lifts me head up and I can see her hair returning back to the natural blond it is from the white hair of her troop.

"You can sit back up now," she says. "I've never removed scales before."

"Thanks," I reply, my voice still weak.

Brianna crosses her arms as I sit up. "Ella, I think this sickness is a computer virus."

"But it can't be, I need to fight tomorrow. I want to see G suffer over wh-."

"Ella, if it is then maybe Zap and the tech people can help you. We have two people from Supercell coming tomorrow to check on us. For now, your fever and scales are gone but I don't know how long it will last. I want you to drink a healing potion and fall asleep, maybe go into hibernation. I'm sure Hunter will figure out your weapon to fight with so don't worry."

"But I'm not sleepy, I'm full of energy."

"The healing potion will make you sleepy."

---

"I don't know what to pick," I say as Hunter comes up to me, an array of bows, swords, and other medieval weapons in front of me.

"Well I've never seen you shoot an arrow before so that means your not using a bow tomorrow," Hunter says. "What about the discus?"

I pick it up and the weight feels heavy in my hand. "To heavy."

Hunter walks to the swords and picks one up. "What about a sword?"

"Let me try it out."

Hunter hands me the sword, the handle on it feeling comfortable in my figures as I spin it. I bend my knees and start to swing it back and forth, bending it to protect myself  from invisible enemies. I stand up and look at Hunter.

"I think the sword is pretty good, just needs color to it," I say.

"Blue?" Hunter asks.

I nod and Hunter looks at me. "How would you like it?"

I start to go over the list of what I would like and he nods, smiling at me when I finish saying what I want on my sword. Hunter riffles my hair and I smile, Hunter's face red from blushing. He places the sword back on the rack.

"I'll have the sword ready for you after we time travel since your better."

"Thanks."

"No problem, I'm sorry I had to beg you in your dreams."

"That's ok."
