I wake up and feel something rubbing my back, making circular motions around my joints by my shoulders and neck. I flop my ears over and a bunny hops in front of me, it's look identical to mine. It wiggles it's nose and hops to my side, giving me an ear rub with its snowy white paws.

I look over to Hunter to see a bunny looking identical to him giving him a back massage, Hunter still fast asleep. I look down at my neck and see my ribbon gone along with Hunter's dog tag. My bunny stops and starts to rub my paws, the fluffiness feeling so good.

Josie comes in and holds my ribbon along with Hunter's dog tag, placing mine on me and waking Hunter up to place his on. Josie picks us up and the two bunnies follow Josie, their little noses twitching along with their tails. Once at the location, Josie places us down and the bunnies sit by our side.

"Do you like your little surprises?" Josie asks, the bunnies leaning up against us, giving us puppy eyes.

"What's the purpose of these little bunnies?" Hunter asks, his voice a few octaves higher.

"These are little health monitors. They make sure that nothing wrong happens to your health and if something does, they contact me or Zap. It's to make sure that since you guys have any faulty DNA strand or strands, that its notified and we can help with it since you guys are somewhat new Hybrids."

"What about Zap? He's a 'brid like us."

"He was born a Hybrid so he's stable. By the way, you can name these guys since they are like pets."

I feel water start to fill up in my eyes and I hop into the corner, tears falling down my face and onto the floor. Why was I crying when I wasn't sad in the first place? Why was I even in this situation?

Why?

I quickly change into Hybrid form and Hunter comes over to me, my hand taking off his dog tag. I stand up and sprint out of the room and to the front door, pushing my bracelet up. Footsteps come closer and I open the door, sprinting out of the door and taking a left.

I continue to run, my legs starting to burn due to the sudden sprinting caused by my emotions and thoughts. I slow to a jog and come to another clearing, this one small compared to the other. Sitting with my back to a tree, I pant and start to sob, hoping the pain of something and why will go away.

I feel something sit by me and I try to ball up, an arm wrapping around me stopping my motions. I look up and see an outline of a person sitting beside me, their face looking up at the sky. Slowly, I place my head on their shoulder and let out faint sobs, my body shaking. A hand pats my back and I start to cry louder.

The shadow looks at me and frowns, it's face reflecting Hunter's though I toke his dog tag. Hunter keeps patting my back and looks up at the sky, stars starting to come out as both of our eyes get used to the darkness. I lift my head off his shoulder and take a closer look at the stars and constellations.

"You see that patch of stars over there? That's the constellation Pisces," Hunter says as he points to the constellation, moving it over to another constellation. "And, of course, the Big Dipper."

I look at him. "When did you learn the constellations?"

"My mother told me when I was little. Laid out star charts on the table and hung them up in my room. By the age of 10, I could point them out even though I lived in a city you couldn't see them but I'm a bit rusty on them."

"Did you want to be an astronaut when you were little?"

"I did for a while but that was before I wanted to be an artist that does computer art and that was before I wanted to be a programmer."
