Spark (Under Editing and Updating)

Chapter 62 (December 16th, 10:42 pm (pwt), Ella)

I open my eyes and sigh, my eyes adjusting to the light that fills the habitat, touching everything like a blanket. I sit up and feel my wings and a blanket on my back, the weight hurting my fragile wings. Pulling off the blanket, I see Hunter walk over to me with a wide smile.

"Good morning ButterFella," Hunter says as I clean my antenna.

"My name is Ella, Hunter," I state a little coldly.

"You can't take sarcasm I see. You want to fly around the building?"

"Sure."

I flutter my wings and feel myself lifting off the ground, my wings feeling light and airy against my back. Hovering outside the habitat, I see October in the doorway with a butterfly net in her hands. She charges at both me and Hunter before I dodge the attack, however Hunter wasn't as lucky.

"Master has plans for both of you," October says holding up the net to reveal Hunter trapped. "Or just for you ButterFunter."

I zip into the meeting room to see Lolo eating eggs while Josie and Lahela talking about something involving removable DNA. I land on Lolo's hand and point to the EFTC room where I just came out of. She looks at me and then stands up, sprinting into the room and leaving me behind.

I sit beside Hunter in the guest room, Josie placing a blue liquid from a dropper in front of me, placing a red liquid in front of Hunter. Josie gives me a flower and I sniff it, my wings fluttering slowly. She points to the liquid and I drink it, my mind becoming filled with activity. I close my eyes as the changes come to fast for me.

"Ella, it's fine, you can open your eyes," I hear Josie say as I open my eyes to see myself in front of a mirror, myself in my human form along with Hunter.

"How long will this last?" I ask as I show my pessimist trait.

"10 minutes but that's more then an enough for what I have to say to you."

I turn my head to the doorway and see some of the lower ranked people walking around, some of them cheering. Josie places a hand on my back and I turn to face her and Roland, Roland frowning. Josie signals for Roland to talk.

"Sorry about this whole problem but I tried to prevent it but my fat-" Roland says but is cut off by Hunter.

"You freed us which means you tried however you are doing a good job staying undercover. I understand and Ella does too. Let Josie speak."

"Anyway the others found out about you two being butterflies so we have to resort to the other DNA which I captured along with your butterfly DNA. You two are going to be baby bunnies for the reminder of the time," Josie says as I feel fur wrap around me.

I feel soft fur around me and smile, giving me warmth and comfort that I dream of having, my heart beating so fast I could run or hop around this building. Hunter hops over to me and looks at me with his soft colored brown eyes. I feel hands picking me up and I am placed in a bunny house, wood shavings on the ground and metal frame work all over the place.

"Your so soft!" Josie squeals as she smashes my checks together to reveal my small front teeth. I kick the shavings and I hop away into a corner.

"Ella, are you ok?" Hunter asks as he hops over to me, his furry paws being placed on my back. "You can always tell a pet stuff, they can't tell humans anything."

I shake my head at Hunter and start to burrow in the shavings, my snow colored fur starting to get dirty. I reach a dirt layer and dig faster, power going into my short arms and strong hind legs. Feeling coolness brush over me, I stop and stuff myself into the little hole that I made. I wash my face in triumph and decide to sleep.
