Chapter 80 (December 22nd, 1:28 am (pw), Hunter & Ella)

I grit my teeth together and allow me telekinesis to come out, flames licking up my body to my fingertips. A dark red liquid pours out of my arm, the color almost black but the original crimson still remaining. I launch myself up and look around for Lahela, my arm still bleeding. Once I spot her, I land quickly beside her only to see Ella as well, her chest armor off of her, claw marks on her back.

I run up to her and see she's been in a battle, the area below her ribs bleeding a dark red, each breath she takes having a sharp whizzing sound at the end. Lahela is pumping a purple liquid into her, the elixir helping out Ella a little bit. Lahela looks at me and wraps a bandage around my arm, stopping the blood flow. I kneel in front of Ella and her wings spread out, little rips in them.

I start to notice tears running down Ella's face and I start to hold her hand, my emotions starting to take over. Ella places her head on my shoulder and I start to feel weak - I didn't live up to my own mental promise. Josie comes out, her sword in her hand with inscribed words on it, and charges towards the raging battle. Ella sits up straight and tries to fly but can't, only making her situation worse.

I usher her down and start to see her wings healing up, Lahela coming over and bandaging Ella up temporarily. I stand up and change back into my fighting self, my flaming hands coming back with my flashlight eyes. Before long, I run into a clone and spin around, my hands on my double sided axe.

The rain continues to pour down, the ground getting mushy under my feet, my health starting to decline slightly. I look around and see Ella flying, her boastful wings creating a small wing gusts, her future selves locking arms to plan an attack. Ella lands down beside me and I see her chest plate is off of her.

"Are you cleared to fight?" I ask. "I don't want anyone getting hurt."

"I feel better than ever!" Ella replies, taking into the sky, doing flips. "See I'm fine!"

I think Lahela gave her some caffeine.

I see another clone coming and before I can move, Ella dives and slices it, the clone disappearing.

I scan the area, my legs shaking like crazy as my empathy powers spread outwards across the battle, Hunter's emotions coming to me. I turn around and I start to pick up a set of foreign emotions, the carrier in a sea of duplicated emotions. Zap's voice booms in my head and I rush to him, extra medical supplies on me.

I land beside him and get out my spare bandages which Lahela give to me if mine started to stain my shirt. I sense more clones coming and I turn, grabbing my sword from my holder and whipping it out, slicing a clone. Zap finishes the bandage as I take down the last clone coming our way. With all of my strength, I pick him up and place him on my back.

"Are you insane?" Zap asks. "I could've just worked my way to the meeting building by myself."

"I might be going insane but that doesn't stop me from doing the right thing!" I reply back, my voice a little deeper than normal.

I go into a dive and lightly land on my feet, my hair whipping around my face as Zap jumps off. I zoom into the sky and survey the area, the widespread emotions filling my stomach with butterflies, my anger coming out. Soaring, I see Hunter fall down and I go into my signature move, my speed increasing with each passing millisecond. My wings angle themselves and I go into a curve around the group, my water powers creating a net-like texture around them. I get into the middle and do an inside net, Hunter recovering and helping me as he slices the clones.
