"So have you been having any emotional setbacks for you?" Hunter asks as I look around the white room, myself wide awake.
"I guess so with yesterday but besides that... no, no setbacks," I say.
I sigh and imagine this pain for 10 more minutes, in the mind world that my future self from 6 months trapped both me and Hunter in. I start to feel a rush of panic, panic that screams "I need to get out of here" as I start to sweat. Hunter comes by my side, clearly seeing something's wrong with me.
"Hunter why didn't I black out yesterday when I was angry?"
"Because you, uh, I don't know why. You had your bracelet on so that should of made you black out unless you were still frightened."
"But still, I needed a blackout before Josie made me fall asleep."
"Are you ok though? You kinda look sick."
"I guess I'm ok, I just..."
"Ella it's fine, we are going to be ok, it's not like our version of her is like us," Hunter says as he hugs me. "She respects us and she doesn't show signs thats she's one."
I sigh and put my head down, my back starting to feel numb that it doesn't bother me anymore as Hunter walks back to his seat. Lifting up my head I see Hunter staring at me like he used to, his eyes not connecting with his thoughts. Slowly I get up and walk into my mind, welcoming me with every step I take until I walk out and sit back down, Hunter looking at me with sorrowful eyes.

Back in the portal world, I pick up Flame and River and take them to the room where I can find Ella right now, her Hybrid form out as her wings and tail hang, deep blue showing. I feel a rush of panic as I enter the EFTC room, Ella, Zap, and Josie all ready there, Zap taking tests on Ella as her eyes start to flood with tears as she rises the paper as she reads it, her hand shaking. I start to feel Ella's fear as I see her with sunglasses on, tears still running down her face. Come on Ella, your strong, you can handle this, only a more painful test that lets out all your power for a few minutes. I finally she her stand up, sunglasses off, revealing her mud brown eyes with specks of dark blue in them.
"Ella, I brought a few friends for you," I say as I hand her River.
"Thanks but I just can't deal with that fact, well both of them."
"I just think that we knew this was going to happen, the signs were all around us, no more Walmart runs or anything, just real life. We were just lucky that we could have used our powers under protection but soon..."
"And her, I couldn't believe what she did to my future self, with the testing and experiments."
"Ella, calm down, today we have to get certified as time travelers, it should be a good day."
"I know but knowing my future if I fail this battle will be my end and you will start being mean and no one can help us," Ella says as she looks at me. "I can't be like this at battle, someone today called me emotional and not intimating in class."
"But you know the difference, show them that your not as emotional as they think."

I sit down and I let my powers take over me, my mind letting me inside Hunter's mind as I did the day before, but unlike yesterday, I was right in the center of his mind which I've been in before, yet it seemed new as I looked around, the vibrant walls having an slideshow of colors like the Northern lights that I've seen once with my own eyes. Using my mind I start to shift to Lahela's mind which is like the sky, the floors cloud like, the ceiling light blue as I jump off the floor as I take a step until I shift into Josie's mind and see its full of butterflies and research papers written by her. I shift out of Josie's mind and into Zap's to see Zap and Hunter walking around talking about something so I hide behind a pillar and eavesdrop.
"... she's facing a hard time," I hear Hunter say, his voice full of worry. "I trust her but she just makes me worried about her."
"I don't think that she will fail, she's a fighter in dim light brother," Zap says as their voices get louder.
"Dim light? What does that mean?"
"Dim light means that she hides it from herself, fearing what she might become if she lets that out of her all the time, that's why all of these events are happening to her."
"So in times were she needs to fight she will fight. Ok but what about the future with the -"
"Hunter, it's going to be fine. If it happens at the time it's always happened, December 21st at noon, then someone can find her if she gets hurt."
"But what if it doesn't? What if we win when it happens? It's a definite event like her flash forwards were like, right?"
"Yea but she can hear us talking about her, use your telekinesis to get her out her, make a shield to trap her in."
\_/
Ella looks at me and starts to burst into tears as I force the shield over her, my hand shaking as I do this, my shield keeping her in my sight as I wipe the tears off her face and run up to her, wrapping her in a hug. I start to notice that she put her head on my shoulder and notice she's whimpering as she keeps sobbing, my shoulder getting wet. I remove the shield and start to let Ella go as I start to hear Zap saying "aw" and slap him mentally.
"I did-didn't mean to-to do it," Ella says still crying.
"It's ok Ella, I understand, you want to find out information," I say as I look into her eyes and start to see her memories play. "Can you take us into the portal world?"
"Ye-yea," Ella says as I'm in a seat in the EFTC room as Josie paces the room, reading a book until she sees us awake.
"Do you two want to do the class today?" Josie asks as she comes over to us. "Or you can color, I don't mind but I just hope that something will calm you both down."
"Your call Hunter," Ella says.
"Well take the class, just outside the habit," I say.
"It's habitat, Lahela got on me for that, also you guys say 'wrapping' without the the w so it sounds like your about to sing some rap songs. Anyway ready? Oh and don't you have to get certified like right now along with anther person?"
"Well take care of that, just we'll do the class."

I sit right beside Hunter on the table, my antenna curled up and my wings flapping as the other butterflies come in, a neon green and black butterfly, two other butterflies that look like me, two that look like Hunter, one with purple swirls on blue and black, one that has yellow and pink, and one that has green, brown, and black. Nibbling on a leaf, I see a butterfly that looks like Hunter land beside me followed by the tree colored and black and white one follow him. In front of me the neon green butterfly flies in followed by the purple swirls one, and they start to talk.
"Hello and today we will certify 3 time travelers and 2 helpers," the neon green one says as I match it's voice with Zap's.
"These people or butterflies as we are right now are present day Ella and Hunter, and future Hunter from 6 months as the time travelers and Josie and Mallory will be the helpers," the other butterfly says being Lahela.
"So from now on, you guys are apart of the time travelers."
The room vibrates with butterfly cheers as I smile and fly up off the table as I fly to a mirror, seeing my butterfly reflection in the mirror as I smile in pleasure. I see Hunter land right besides me followed by all the others as Josie reads out a photograph of us. I feel my antenna uncurl and start to flap my wings in joy as my wings glow and a necklace appears around my neck.

I hold Ella in my hand as I grab the talisman from my pocket with my other hand, Ella flying into the top of my head. The orange jewel shimmers in the light as I press my thumb in the back of it as I wish my wish that I think, though I know it won't become true. I hold the jewel for another second before I put it back into my pocket and Ella lands in my hands again.
"What was that?" Ella asks in a cute, high pitched, butterfly voice.
"That was a talisman but I don't believe it can grant wishes."
"What did you wish for?"
"Time will tell you the answer Ella, time will tell."
