In the limo, on the way to my birthday/pool party, almost everyone was singing besides me, Reese, and I think Gaby though I don't see her, must be teleporting to the party with Hunter, Colleen, Maddie, Brianna, and all the other kids besides Nina in the clan. Reese, that looks like her usual self, grumpy and mad looking. I try to block out the noise and lean my head on the window. I just wish that I had the power to be a leader, not like the "clan leader" but as a emotional leader, someone who could really lead, and in my case, someone who could tell my friends to stop singing.
"Hey, why can't you get in the pool, Reese," my friend, Jasmine, says to Reese that looks bored and somewhat sad.
I start to panic, what happens if she says what happened to get her leg burned, I would be the "talk of the town" as you call it. I try to rush to Jasmine to tell her to not ask but then I remember that Hunter wiped her memory of the fight so i stay in my seat. I look out the window and see my eyes have changed color from hazel to dark blue with specks of light blue. I blink and my eyes change to my natural hazel.
"Hey what are you doing next weekend, Taylor?" I ask Taylor who is sitting beside me, not singing which she usually does because she's in choir.
"Well me and Gaby were planning to sleepover but I didn't want to invite you because, well, your birthday next weekend," she says leaning on my back.
"Oh, ok."
I close my eyes to keep my anger from lashing out because i have a bad temper, and in my second form, it's worse. Taylor always keeps me out of things and less likely tends to invite my friends with her, and it makes me feel left out, yet I don't know why I'm still her friend. Maybe because I give second chances and i try to connect with her. But i her friend all in all.
We arrive at my Grammy's house which is where the pool and party are happening and Reese is helped up the stairs. Me and my friends walk in and go into the pool while Reese tosses the ball back and forth with us. Then Reese is pushed in by my friend Mason and yells for help. I came over and drag her out of the pool. Hunter, gives me a pat on the back when I get out of the water.
When I come to get a drink of lemonade, my friend Mason is by a mermaid table and trying to touch it. I walk pass him and tell him no. Not paying any mind to me, he touches the mermaid.
"Hey ella! I need you in the back," Hunter says walking with the clan to the back. I follow the group.
"Why do you need me?" I ask.
"We need a plan, Reese is fire so she's going to remember what happened," Hunter says, "plus we need to help Mason listen."
"You mean the Fish boy?!" says Maddie, "he's pretty funny!"
"Anyway the 'Fish boy' needs listening and deciding skills," Brianna says nudging Maddie who looks a little dehydrated.
"Well I'm sure we can try to help but can you let me think?" I say laying on the bed, "Gaby report to them my train of thought."
"'K."
We all have second powers, like mine is mind control, though I don't do it every day even though I know Hunter uses his second powers every day like his time freezing, and Gaby for mind reading. I toss myself onto the bed and start to worry that I might change at any given point. "Ella, start think of a plan to try to fight Reese because that's how it's going to happen," Gaby says in a strict voice," or else I will go into your fears and show the others." I start thinking of a plan.
Then Maddie leaves the room to get a drink.
Brianna leaves to follow her Best friend, Maddie.
Ava leaves to go to the bathroom.
Isabella leaves to go try to teach Mason or now aka the "Fish boy" a lesson which a highly think the plan won't work.
Then it's just me, Gaby, Colleen, and Hunter in the room.

Hi guys! I feel like my favorites are Hunter, Ella, and Ava as of right now, maybe because I know what happens to them in the future. Anyway, last chapter, we found out about Reese's memory being erased and Ella's weird glitches.
Qotc: What do you think is going to happen during the fight?
