Spark (Under Editing and Updating)

Chapter 43 (December 2nd, 7:30 am, Ella and Gaby)

I wake up in the hospital bed and feel different, having an up unseen force take control of my iPad and open up YouTube, typing in one of Hunter's favorite YouTubers. A feeling causes me to look at the IVs and notice they are the poison IVs, however I don't pull them out, I don't want to mess up time. Hunter wakes up and stretches, yawning as he sits up.

"Good morning Hu- I mean Ella," Hunter says with my voice. "Sorry about that."

"No problem," I reply with his voice. "Hey do you want to be at least a little percent back to normal?"

"Yea."

"Here's my iPad, watch Sky or that pony show on there."

"Thanks," Hunter says as Momma K or Katt comes in.

Have you ever felt like there is someone watching you every breath you make, every footstep, every thought and yet you can't find a single soul? You think it's just a mental thought yet it feels so real that it starts to haunt you and you try to run away yet you fail no matter what you do? You think it's just a phase when in reality it's just you but you still have the thought, that feeling that someone's watching your every moment.

"Ella, are you ok?" Ms.Katt asks me. "It's ok to talk, not every room has a voice recorder or camera, Hunter already told me about the voice swap."

I nod my head as I look out the window.

"Don't want to speak?"

I nod again as I start to imagine myself solely taking on my enemies one by one, dominating the battle field.

"I get that," Ms.Katt says as she picks up her walking talkie. "I have to call my daughter real quick."

I swear that when I woke up in the portal world, I felt something exit me, almost like I was freed of something, yet I had no clue. Now I sit in my first period class, Reading and English, right besides Tsneem who keeps elbowing me with a sly look on her face. "Really what was that for?" I whisper to Tsneem as I start to hear my stomach rumbles.

"Stop talking in class," Ms.Yard says as the class falls silent.

"Yea Gaby, stop talking in class," Tsneem says as her eyes flicker to red and back to her natural blue as her voice deepens.

I start to get back to working as Tsneem starts to kick me in the thigh and Ms.Yard comes over. Ms.Yard places her head on the table and I don't dare to look up to face her face to face. "Gaby," Ms.Yard says. "Go outside for a minute."

I gulp and stand up, walking out of the room and into the hallway.

"Have you visited Ella in the hospital?" Ms.Yard asks me.

"No but I will tonight. Why if you don't mind?"

"Well were getting a new student on Friday and he's in the same room Ella is in. He got into a car crash."

"So you want me to meet him?"

"And get to know him. We will be in there later tonight to drop of some papers for Ella but can you come down to the media center during lunch to talk about something?"

"Yea, I will..." I start to say.

"Your not in trouble."

First flashback just happened and I freeze in place as I take my headphones out of the laptop which Ms.Katt brought to me. Looking over to Lahela, I see her start to panic before Hunter gets up and hugs her, Lahela looking at me. I sigh and stand up, my rib killing me, and hug her.
