I wake up, my eyes burning from the pain of something, two lights reflecting off the wall I face. My vision is blurry and I rub my eyes, the burning sensation getting worse, my powers going haywire as I pick up mental notes of Ella. I feel fire start to engulf my hands and I hold back a scream of pain.

I place my hand in my bag and take out my sunglasses, placing them on my face, the two lights going away. I take deep breaths in and out as my powers settle back down, getting up to turn on the lights. Walking out of the room, I tiptoe down the hallway and hear quiet crying.

I push Ella's door open as I see Ella on her bed, the room full of mist, Ella having three layers on her. I sit by her and she sits closer to me, me wrapping an arm around her, trying to keep her temperature up. She looks at me and I still hold her, my mouth forming into a smile, blood rushing to my cheeks.

The mist clears and Ella places her head on my shoulder. "Why did you wake up?"

Ella looks down. "I couldn't sleep because I was having nightmares and because I just want everyone and everything to be ok."

"Well I'm fine besides having flashlight eyes but I'm worried about you"

"I'm fine, I don't even remember what my nightmares were about."

"Then why are you crying."

She places her head in my chest, the red on my cheeks growing bigger and darker, my hand running through her hair. "I'm just afraid that something will happen during the battle."

"I'm scared too but you have to power through it. Sometimes before it gets better, it gets worse to the point you don't know what to do. You have to power through this in order to know your fate and to prove to yourself that you can do this because you clearly doubt yourself."

"But do you think I can do this?"

"Of course."

She lifts her head up and I pulls back, Ella pulling off her bracelet and wings growing out of her shoulder blades. She quickly turns into a bunny and hopes in my lap, my hand almost feeling magnetized to touch her beautiful fur, my hand petting her and rubbing her ears. I let out a little awe and she relaxes, flopping onto her stomach and getting smaller, her rabbit age decreasing.

I stroke her fur, a light purr coming out of her mouth, her eyes closing before I pick her up. I place her in a doll crib and let her relax, placing warm milk beside her along with some hay, rabbit toys already in there. As I leave, I start to hear crying again, but this time it's in my mind.

I look towards Ella and see her balled up, her ears over her eyes with her paws curled up to her. Her tail is twitching and I sigh, her emotions just taking over her easily as the crying gets louder. When I reach her, I see her start to flinch, balling up tighter as I pick her up.

"Here you go. Eggs, bacon, hash browns, and pancakes with some fruit."

I place the tray of breakfast in front of Ella and shake my head, her fork staying still, her expression staying blank. I sit down across from her and see stress building up in her eyes, her pupils looking at me but her eyes looking through me. Ella takes a breath in and starts to eat.

"You know you can tell me anything right?" I ask, Ella nodding. "What's on your mind right now?"

"Nothing, it's just one of those days," she replies, still eating.

I sigh and sit beside Ella, patting her back as I just walk around her mind, the freight coldness almost being to much for me. I reach a room and I try to open the door but it won't open. Giving up, I walk around and get to her emotions area and start to see her constant sadness.
