"What happened?"
"We were in battle class and we were using our weapons for the fight tomorrow and it was 1 against 1 and I may have hit her with my axe to hard so now she's bleeding from her shoulder."
"Shoot, how bad is it?"
"She's passed out from blood loss but she's still alive. If it makes you feel any better, it wasn't regular Human blood, it was purple dragon blood."
"How did dragon scales not penetrate your axe?"
"I don't know. Look, tell my parents I'm going to not be there for a few hours but tell them the situation is handled and under control."
I hang up and place it back in my pocket, Lahela coming over and sitting down beside me. She hands me a serum and I inspect the liquid, the orange and yellow liquid looking thick. She tells me to drink it and I hold it up to my lips but put it down, the effects of it unknown.
"What does it do?" I ask, Lahela looking down.
"If you want to take it then you can, it will make Ella feel better when she wakes up," Lahela replies. "It just changes you up a bit."
"I'm going to take it after I do something."
"Oh so big tough Hunter needs his alone ti-."
"I do. Hold that serum until I ask for it."
I stand up and go down the hallway, my bracelet a constant reminder of my broken promises. I just didn't know how - or what - to do for today and tomorrow while Ella has to go through traumatic experiences. Taking a turn to my right, I see the front desk where there's a young man around the age of 20.
"May I help you with anything?" the man asks.
"Yes, do you know where the programmers programming the Valkyrie's are located?" I ask and the man nods, pointing to the direction I came from.
"Keep going straight and you'll enter a room with computers. Each section has the troop or building name up above it. Go to the Valkyrie section and ask them for what ever you need."
"Thank you."
"You're welcome."
I walk down and look down, my yellow shirt and black sports shorts feeling baggy on me, each hanging pass where they should be because of training. I enter the room and my eyes are greeted by a bunch of people by the computers, some of them looking up at me and some typing. A large screen in the back of the room shows dots on the world, a few of them with names on dots along with the group's chat beside it.
Our group.
One of the coders come up to me and looks at the screen, ordering the programmers to start working again. He places a hand on my shoulder and soon the dots in Finland zoom in, revealing Ella's, Lahela's, Roland's and my name on a few dots, each dot colored differently. I start to back up and the coder pats my back, telling me to stay.
"Hunter, right?" the coder asks before I nod. "Ella's going to be ok, we're just coding some commands to make her scales grow back faster."
"Thanks, how's the home base?" I ask, the map changing to a different section, most of the dots staying in the meeting building, the chat staying silent.
"I understand that you guys have a battle tomorrow. We decided to give you guys unlimited everything only for those purposes. You guys can't do multiplayer battles until the 22nd though."
I nod and I walk to the Dragon section, each computer with a person typing, headsets on as I recognize some of the code. I walk pass them and go to the Valkyrie section, a chair empty while some of them eat lunch at their desks. The seat I sit at makes a small squeak and the whole section turns to face me.
"Um, hi guys. Am I interrupting something?" I ask as most of them shake their heads.
I sigh and the person to my right taps me, my head shooting up and looking straight into their eyes. They flinch and I soften my gaze, the person beside me looking only a few years older then me. They open their mouth but close it, their eyes dotting back and forth in thought.
"I was wondering if I could join your clan," the female asks. "I've heard that it's epic."
"If you call it epic then I guess it is. Just next time I'm here, you can join, ok?" I reply.
"Thanks Hunter. I've heard that your an awesome leader."
I give a faint smile and stand up, walking to the exit where I see Lahela standing with the serum, the orange liquid spinning. I stop in front of her and grab the serum, Lahela telling me to drink it before I go and check on Ella. Nodding, I whisper something in her ear and walk out, drinking the serum.

Hi guys! I've been having writers block but it's getting better and I plan on updating early next week. Hunter seems to becoming out of his shell compared to the earlier chapters and he seems to be the favorite out of all my friends. Only a few more chapters left and some major stuff is going to happen. As a refresher, last chapter was when Ella got hurt.
Qotc: What do you think the serum will do to Hunter? How will it affect Ella if/when she wakes up from her blackout?
