Spark (Under Editing and Updating)

Chapter 45 (December 5th, 12:30am, Zap & 3rd person)

Just then I hear a noise from my inactive screen as I turn to see a panic Skype call from Maddie to Ella. I answer.

"Hey El-I mean Zap," Maddie says. "Where is Ella?"

"Ella's in-," I start to say before Maddie starts to speak.

"Oh god, is Ella ok?"

"She might not be, she just got hit with another fireball while she's looking for water for her and Mason."

"Where is she?"

"She is in Hunter's game. Do you want me to send the main footage to you?"

"Yea but whats happening?"

"Hunter will explain tomorrow."

While Zap was talking to Maddie, there was another person controlling Hunter's body but it wasn't you thought was controlling it; it was Light as he recorded messages from Gilbert before he made the IVs, putting the messages in the computer chip that would fade away and break after this battle. Light looked at his Skype and saw his friend enemy was active so he decided to give a friendly little call to Zap after he was done with his call. He pulled over his hood as Max came into the room.

"Hello Max," Light said to his golden retriever dog as the screen turned to see Zap sitting in a dark room. "Hello Zap."

"Well, um, hello Light. I wasn't expecting to talk to you today," Zap said as he ran his fingers through his medium length, brown hair.

"You look like your brother a lot. Speaking of your brother, where is he?"

"Don't even think I'm stupid, you poisoned him and Ella to go into two ripoffs which you somehow stole from Hunter and some other person."

"I don't say I thought you were stupid but you were, how do rephrase this, you were very unwise to think that this whole battle, this whole 'war' is going to end horribly for you guys, oh wait, you will think that this is just what would've happened."

"Well let me tell you something, you will get our fury handed right to you on your own silver platter when the tables turn," Zap says as he turns off the call.

Light started to smile as he felt a small victory enter his soul ever so slowly as he did catch Zap off guard for once in his whole 11 years of life though he acted and was treated like an adult. Light looked at the screens showing that the battle was 5 vs. 1, the five running on elemental fumes they could find, however the others without powers hid in the shadows, waiting to attack mind controlled Hunter at any given moment. He zoomed in on one girl in particular grabbing water and gaining health; that person could only be Ella.

I wanted to punch a wall right now, to get all my anger out, when I start to hear yelling from the secondary camera, someone crying and someone yelling. Calming down, I start to hear Ella crying and Hunter yelling at her for some reason, but shouldn't Ella not be in her own mind? I listen and turn up the volume to hear.

"I thought you were smarter then that!" Hunter yells.

"I didn't want someone being me!" Ella yells in between sobs.

"I understand that but you were failing at standing up!"

"Just because I can't be strong doesn't mean I should be yelled at!"

"I'm really starting to lose faith in you!"

"Leave me alone!"

"Not until you say that your sorry for this and I still might be angry at you!"

"I-I'm sorry," Ella says so quietly that I can barely hear her say it.

"What?"

"I'M SORRY!"

I look into the camera more and see what "Ella" is seeing as she finds some lava in a steel bucket. How is that even possible, I think to myself as "Ella dumps the lava on mind controlled Hunter. I turn around to see everybody waking up plus Jenny.

Hunter woke up to his eyes burning but he was starting to slip into his old self when he was the leader of the week old clan, yelling at Ella was the first thing that made everybody think this even though some didn't know him at that time. He saw Ella starting to sniffle and walk into a corner, only to hear whimpering out from the corner. He saw her future self walk over to her, often glaring at him for a few seconds. Hunter was slowly starting to feel like a monster.

What provoked him to start yelling is when Ella fell for the fifth time and refused to let her future self gain control, causing Ella to get zapped into her brain. He wanted to tell her to just fall asleep but as you know, he slipped into his old self and started to become a very hot headed and cruel leader. He started to mutter "I'm not that way anymore" when future Ella came out from the other room.

"I have to say something," Future Ella said as she sat down. "Then we can talk about the clan and stuff."

"Where's Ella," Hunter asked as he locked eyes with her future self.

"She's recovering, she is really upset."

"But that wasn't the real me now, that was pre-hybrid times," Hunter said as the new group mates looked at him. "Tomorrow I will go over that."

"I know, I showed her that just she is starting to feel loneliness again."

"Well guys, don't we have something important to talk about?" Zap asked as he handed his brother some sunglasses as Hunter's eyes glowed a crimson red.

After Zap said that, the fairly small group started to talk about the clan, about what just happened, and about the important topics that were going to be reviewed at meet tomorrow with the whole clan. The group decided to send Jenny to the police office though Ella might need to go due to the fact that the police would ask questions and not just leave Jenny alone. Ella came to the group, her eyes reflecting the events that happened as she sat down and Hunter began to hug her, his crush on her rising to 15% as he started to feel the need for sleep as Ella fell asleep in his arms. Her future self came over and picked her up, opening the portal to Ella's house, laying her on her bed, setting an alarm for 6:30 am. She opened the portal again using her past self's hand that she lightly held and let go, hopping through the portal and agreeing to help at the police office. As she got back to Zap's house, she noticed everybody went back home via portal and decided to take Jenny to the station.
