Chapter 43 (December 2nd, 7:30 am, Ella and Gaby)

Hunter, I hear a voice call out.

I'm not Hunter, I reply mentally.

I'm outside the window.

I look to the window and see nothing.

That's were I was or my friend was at midnight.

What?

I'm the IV, I'm the poison that you and Ella knew about, I'm the poison going through your body and to your brain.

Like I said, I'm not Hunter!

I start to pant and before I know it, Hunter is shaking me, fear locked into his eyes as he walks over to me. Hunter picks me up and carries me over to Ms.Katt who looks at me, shaking her head as she starts to do a blood test on me. "That IV caused a change in her normal blood by adding a computer virus to it," Ms.Katt says. "Don't panic Ella and Hunter, it's going to be ok."

I nod and start to think of the clan and the ranks until I realize a lie that now is the truth, that lie being from me, telling the group that I am the second ranked person yet I'm tied for first after the 29th. Freezing in mid thought, Reese shakes me as I freeze, my body starting to go into hyperdrive, making me start to get worked up, looking for anything to start a fight. Josie starts to speak but I interrupt, only to be silenced by a blackout from my bracelet.

I walk into the hospital with a bag of cards from the class though they were forced to sign, most rolled their eyes when they heard Ella was hurt. Walking in, the warm air greeted me as I walked to the check in place to be greeted by an old man. I walked slowly to the desk and drop my bag.

"Hello?" I ask as the old man looks at me.

"Hello. Why are you here?" he replies.

"I'm here to visit my classmate."

"Age?"

"12."

"I'm sorry but you need an adult to visit with you if you are under 13 years of age," the old man states in a matter-of-fact tone. "Also you would need your bags checked."

"Really?! Like come on, I'm trying to visit my friend who almost has a broken rib and she has food poisoning so why can't I!"

"Because you don't have an adult. I would let you go knowing your probably a harmless little girl but -"

"My mother had to drop me off because she has to work at night! I didn't know I needed an adult to visit my friend who is terrified of being in a hospital! Plus I'm not a 'little girl', I'm a 7th grader!

"Mr, Im her friend she wants to visit," Ella says as she pats me on my shoulder as I turn to see Ella and a few others.

"Well, um, you can go with them," the mean and grumpy old man says as I pick up my bag.

"Sorry 'bout that, he's been working here for 26 years, working in one place can effect ya," Lahela says as she hands us menus. "He's nice though but he can get a lil' grumpy."

I sit in the cafeteria in the hospital with a brace around by chest, pushing my ribs back into their proper place. Picking up the menu, I sigh due to that it's been a long day for me and Hunter and to that it's a day wasted. Reading the menu, I select the chicken wings since they are only 11.99 for 12 wings and that it's free due to that Josie, Lahela, and Reese are all here for 'Bring your kid to work' day.

"'Erybody have what they want? I'm 'bout to order," Lahela says as Josie takes out a empty bottle and lays it down on the table.

"Wings," I say.

"Burger," Hunter says.

"Chicken noodle soup," Gaby says.

"Grilled cheese," Josie and Reese say.

"Hey who wants to play spin the bottle but hugging instead of kissing since we have only one boy here," Josie says as she spins the bottle and it lands on Hunter. "Hunter has to hug ... Ella!"

I roll my eyes as Gaby, Josie, and Reese start to chant "Enter" over and over, guessing Enter was our new "ship" name. Hugging Hunter I take a breath of relief as the bottle lands on Josie. Payback, I think, payback.

Gaby's phone starts to vibrate and Gaby pulls her phone out and looks until she pushes it to Reese. Reese looks at it as Gaby starts to panic, me, Hunter, and Josie all confused about this whole event. The phone is then passed to me and Hunter as my heart starts to race.

I look down at the phone only to see the clan chat, but the clan chat wasn't like how it was when me and Hunter were on earlier.

Instead there is 4 new people wanted to join.

The people are Jewels, Mallory, Madison, and Hannah from my school.

All saying they know about me and Hunter are in the hospital.
