I just finished The Book Thief.
Official scarred for life.
Feeling weepy.
Heart is heavy.
I literally don't even know what to say.
That's good for those of you who haven't read it, no spoilers.
The book was amazing actually.
Until it got less amazing.
On a scale of 1-10 (1 being happy and 10 being sad)
This book gets a 30.
On a comparison scale to the other books we're reading in class, (1 being happy and 10 being sad)
This book is a -32
I would like to point out that I am bad at making scales and this scale system is very much flawed.
On an unrelated note:
If you've ever read The Road, please tell me because it was too traumatic to finish and I want to know what happens at the end. (The clarify: I want you to tell me what happens at the end.)
I am going to start another book with a very unfortunate title, Between Shades of Grey.
I feel terrible for the author.
