Justin Trudeau is officially the new Prime Minister of Canada.
I don't really know what it means, but it takes 170 seats to win.
Like, each riding has a representative and if the residents of that riding vote for the rep of the party of the candidate running for prime minister, then they win.
It's a really indirect way of voting a federal government.
Unlike the US where you literally pick you President, here you go through your local mp (member of parliament) and those seats.
I don't really know which is more convenient. BUT WHO CARES.
Everyone was sick of Stephen Harper. Seriously, he's been prime minister for as long as I can remember.
Everyone's still kinda unhappy with the whole "legalizing marijuana" but people are still going to smoke it no matter what you do. So why not get control on it?
